Czech Republic vs England Preview – 11/10/19 Euro 2020 Qualifying

The Czech Republic are not the force that they used to be but they do have some talented players in their squad so it was a bit of a surprise when they capitulated at Wembley in the reverse fixture, losing 5-0. Since then they have won three of their other four matches to take second place in the group, but newcomers Kosovo are hot on their heels and those two sides play in what could be a vital fixture next month.

England have cruised through qualifying so far, as they often do. They’ve already beaten Montenegro 5-1 away from home but they do have three away matches remaining because of their participation in the Nations League latter stages. So although they wills till qualify, this will be seen as their toughest assignment in the group and they still have to play Bulgaria away on Monday before travelling to Kosovo for the last fixture of qualifying.
