Tottenham vs Inter Milan Preview

Harry Kane’ halfway line goal stole the headlines from Spurs’ first International Champions Cup encounter. That last-gasp goal helped Tottenham to a 3-2 victory over Juventus. Another game-changing late goal occurred in their following game; this time Angel Gomes made it 2-1 to Manchester United.

The North London club then participated in the Audi Cup. Another Harry Kane pre-season winner beat Real Madrid 1-0. In the final of the Audi Cup, Tottenham let a 2-0 lead slip to Bayern Munich, before triumphing on penalties. Just one loss against strong opposition marks a relatively successful preseason for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.

Inter Milan were also denied by a late Manchester United strike, with Mason Greenwood the scorer. Another narrow loss followed, losing on penalties to Italian rivals, Juventus, after a 1-1 draw. Yet another low scoring affair played out in Macau, where Inter beat PSG on penalties, after another 1-1 draw in their last game.

Tottenham vs Inter Milan Betting Tips

Spurs have been involved in some high-scoring matches, averaging 3.25 goals a game. Inter’s matches with Manchester United, Juventus and PSG have averaged just 1.25 goals per game. It’s therefore difficult to draw any conclusions from this data. Backing 2-3 total goals at 11/10 would meet in the middle for a game where neither team will want to overextend themselves so close to the start of the season.

Tottenham have scored in both halves of their games against Juventus and Bayern Munich. 31/20 offers good value for a repeat of this feat in their final preseason game.

The Nerazzurri have struggle to score in preseason, just 2 goals against the aforementioned teams is a paltry return. Meanwhile, Spurs have averaged 1.75 goals a game. We’re backing a 2-1 score line in this one at 15/2.
