Our main Cadiff vs Fulham prediction is for both teams to score in this match. Despite Cardiff’s struggles this season, they do tend to find the net when they play and that is something to provide encouragement. They’ve scored in four of their last six matches, failing to net against Manchester City and Tottenham. The Bluebirds scored twice at home to Arsenal, away at Chelsea and at home to Burnley in that time and given that Fulham have conceded eight times in their last two games, we’re expecting at least a Cardiff goal here. Fulham haven’t scored in their last two on the road but this will be an easier task than those matches against Manchester City and Everton. Shakey defences on both sides means we should get goals here.

Cardiff are short of players who you’d be confident of landing an anytime scorer bet and their top scorers this season are all one one goal each. For Fulham the obvious choice is striker Aleksander Mitrovic, who has netted five times so far in this campaign. Both of these newly promoted sides are sitting down near the bottom of the Premier League table, with Cardiff currently rock bottom on just two points. They’ve lost their last six matches in all competitions and in that time have suffered heavy defeats to both Manchester City and Chelsea. Neil Warnock is operating on a shoe-string budget in South Wales but the board must already be considering a change before it’s too late. If this form carries on Cardiff could have a mountain to climb to survive come Christmas.

Fulham have put together a few good performances this season, but their inconsistency means they themselves are struggling down the wrong end of the Premier League table. They were thrashed 5-1 by Arsenal in their last home match and got beat 3-0 at Everton in the game before that. With Mitrovic in their team they will always have a chance of scoring goals as illustrated in the 4-2 win over Burnley earlier in the season.
