Predictably, Harry Kane scored both of Tottenham’s goals in their routine victory at Huddersfield last weekend. But as consistent as Kane is, I can’t bring myself to recommend a 1/2 shot as an anytime goalscorer prediction. Son Heung-Min was handed a rare start in Yorkshire last weekend and, if he retains his place here, could easily grab a goal against Cardiff. Spurs’ attack is blessed with such quality that people often overlook the fact that the South Korean averages a goal every three games – normally from wide areas – even though a large number of his appearances are from the bench. I tend to regard this betting market as a way of squeezing some extra value out of a team I consider strong favourites to win.
