Brazil vs Qatar predictions and betting tips for this week’s international friendly match, ahead of the Copa America starting next weekend. Qatar will be competing in the tournament and have a tough warm-up match here.
Qatar have arrived in South America to compete in the Copa America (for some reason). They will play in this summers tournament, and in next years after the organisers decided to bring the tournament in line with the European Championships. Japan are also in this year’s tournament. Qatar were crowned Asian Champions in 2019 but this will be an all together different task against an impressive Brazil squad.
They have only lost one of their last 24 matches, against Belgium in the World Cup quarter final last summer, and will be favourites to win the 2019 Copa America too.
Qatar are the outsiders in the betting for the tournament but will get some great experience ahead of hosting the World Cup in 2022, and we’re predicting an easy win for Brazil in this warm-up match. They have won all but one of their friendlies since the World Cup, with just a draw against Panama blotching their record. They have also only conceded two goals in those eight matches, so a bet on Brazil to win to nil looks a great pick for our bet of the day.
The odds for this are short for the normal punter so a correct score bet of Brazil to win 3-0 looks a good investment at 5/1 with Ladbrokes. They scored three in their most recent friendly against Czech Republic and players like Everton’s Richarlison will be playing for a place in the Brazil starting line-up for the Copa America, so expect him to be keen to impress.
These two sides have never met before.
