Iceland vs France Preview: 11/10/19 Euro 2020 Qualification

Iceland have had a reasonably solid qualification campaign so far. Their 4-0 loss to France was disappointing but not unexpected. A 2-1 win over Turkey boosted their hopes of qualification but a potentially damaging 4-2 loss to Albania last time out could have scuppered their chances. France to get the job done

There’s a lot more riding on this game than the French would have liked. It’s not a must-win game but it’s not far off. A 4-0 win over Iceland in Paris will give France confidence heading into this and in truth they have a far superior squad.
