Swansea vs Hull Preview

Swansea have lost winger Daniel James to Manchester United but as things stand, they have managed to keep hold of striker Oliver McBurnie. He will be key to their promotion push this season, as will defender Mike van der Hoorn who has attracted some attention from Premier League clubs. They have been faultless in pre-season, winning all six matches and scoring plenty of goals (18) in the process. Their most recent victory was against Serie A top four finishers from last season, Atalanta.

Hull City have played three away pre-season friendlies and remarkably, they have drawn all three matches 2-2. Their other two have been at home where they beat Lincoln Red Imps 2-1 and lost 2-0 to French side Amiens. They are one of our Championship relegation predictions for this season and if Jarrod Bowen leaves the club, they will be in danger of having a tough season.

Swansea vs Hull Betting Tips

The first of our Swansea vs Hill City betting tips for this weekend is going to be a win for the home side. They have been great in pre-season and so will be full of confidence for this tie. Home advantage should make it one of the more comfortable of starts in the Championship. Hull City have only won one friendly and were really poor away from home last season. They won just one of their last 10 on the road and Swansea will be one of the selections in our footy acca tips for Saturday.

The second tip here is going to be a goalscorer prediction rather than the normal correct score bet and the man to be on here is Swansea striker Oliver McBurnie. The Scottish striker is 15/4 with bet365 to score first and that looks a good bet. The 23-year-old scored 22 goals last season and Swansea will do well to keep hold of him until the transfer window shuts.
