Bristol City vs Sheffield United Predictions

Both teams to score is going to be our first selection for this one. The play-offs are usually tight in the first leg, but all the stats point to goals in this one. Both teams have scored in Bristol City’s last seven home matches and they’ve not kept a clean sheet in their last 11 matches. Sheffield United have scored in 16 of their last 17 away matches.

Gustavo Hamer has probably been the Blades’ best attacking player this season, and he’s had a shot on target in two of his last three matches, including a goal against Cardiff. The winger will also be on free-kicks, giving us an extra chance to land this shot on target tip.

Next, we have another shot on target selection: Nakhi Wells. He’s had a quiet spell in front of goal for the last three matches of the season, but before that, he had eight shots on target in his previous five matches, scoring in three of those. He’s scored 10 goals this season and has played a huge part in Bristol City’s push for the play-offs this season.

The last leg of the bet builder is a player to be booked and we’re going for Bristol City midfielder Ross McCrorie. He’s made 11 fouls in his last seven matches, and he’s been booked in three of his last five games. Depending which side he plays on on Thursday night, he might be up against Gustavo Hamer, which will only increase the chances of him going into the referee’s book once again.
