Torino vs Lecce Betting Tips

Walter Mazzari’s Torino have started the season extremely strongly, and they are one of just four teams who took maximum points from their opening couple of games. Both victories have come by a single goal, with their 3-2 away win in Bergamo proving particularly eye-catching. The Granata are scoring goals, and although they’ve been far from perfect at the back, they have the ability to out-score opponents. Torino start this game as 4/9 favourites and will be expected to make it a perfect three from three.

Lecce’s return to the top flight has not gone according to plan. The newcomers lost to Verona, and suffered a poor result against Inter. The former was particularly hard to take, and Lecce cannot afford to drop points against potential relegation rivals. Including the back end of their Serie B promotion campaign, Lecce have now lost five of their last seven away trips.

Torino have scored at least two goals in eight of their last nine home matches, and that pattern is expected to continue here. Andrea Belotti is always a threat, and he will surely get chances in this fixture. Torino Win and Over 1.5 Goals is available at 3/4 with Coral, which seems like a decent price considering that it has already landed twice for Mazzeri’s men this campaign.

The aforementioned Belotti could be too sharp for the Lecce defence. They’ve conceded five times so far, and shipped four to Inter at the San Siro. The striker has already scored seven times so far (including Europa League), and was also on the score-sheet whilst on International duty recently. He’s 13/10 with Ladbrokes to find the net anytime in this one.
