Brighton vs Watford Betting Tips and Predictions: Premier League Preview

Brighton predictions

Brighton vs Watford betting tips, predictions and match preview for this weekend’s Premier League clash. Brighton threw away a 2-0 lead at Fulham in mid-week to make it three defeats on the bounce, can they get three points this weekend?

Watford were a tad unfortunate to lose against Spurs at Wembley and will want to get back to winning ways after going six matches unbeaten before that. See our Brighton vs Watford predictions below.

Brighton vs Watford Preview

These sides both site comfortably in mid-table and with no danger of a relegation fight, they can try and push as high up the table as possible. Watford currently sit ninth and are having another great season in the Premier League and Brighton continue to consolidate and are 13th.

Following defeats for both teams at the weekend, they will want to bounce straight back here but our predictions are saying this could end a draw.

These teams have only met three times previously in the Premier League and they have a win each, and one draw. A concern for Brighton fans will be that they have only won one of their last nine matches and although it would take some crazy results to drag them into the bottom three, their fans might be starting to get annoyed by poor performances. The 4-2 loss to Fulham in midweek after leading 2-0 will have done nothing to put minds at rest.

Both of these teams are struggling to win matches consistently at present and that’s why the first of our Brighton vs Watford predictions was a draw. The visitors have drawn three of their last five Premier League games and Watford manager Javi Gracia would probably be happy with a point here.

Brighton vs Watford Predictions

There are two stalwart strikers going head to head in this match – Glenn Murray of Brighton and Troy Deeney of Watford. Murray is having a great season for the Seagulls and already has ten Premier League goals to his name. He is the favourite to score anytime here at odds of 6/4 with 10Bet.

For our Brighton vs Watford prediction on the goalscorer markets, we’re actually going to take a chance on a midfielder getting a goal. Pascal Gross got the winner when these two sides last met at the AMEX Stadium and he’s the selection here. The odds for Gross to score anytime are 15/4 with 10Bet (the best odds available).

For our correct score prediction on the match, we’re going for a rather unimaginative 1-1 draw. The draw has already been predicted in the earlier selections and a punt on 1-1 looks as good a bet as any on this weekend’s Premier League fixtures.

Brighton vs Watford Odds

Brighton to win – 8/5 with 10Bet.

Draw – 9/4.

Watford to win – 37/20.
