22/1 Aston Villa vs Tottenham Predictions and Bet Builder Tip

Aston Villa betting tips

Aston Villa vs Tottenham predictions and betting tips for a bet builder on the Friday night Premier League fixture to win from a £10 bet.

It’s make or break time for Villa in their quest for Champions League football next season. With two rounds of fixtures left to play, they’re in sixth place, level on points with fifth place Chelsea and two points behind Manchester City. They need to win both of their final matches to have any chance of Champions League football next season, with Nottm Forest a point behind them in seventh.

For Tottenham, all eyes on on the Europa League final in Bilbao so who knows what side Ange Postecoglu will put out at Villa Park. He cannot afford any more injuries to his starting 11 but will want to keep the players fresh ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Bilbao.

We cannot see past an Aston Villa win in this match and you can see our bet builder tip below.

Aston Villa vs Tottenham Predictions

It is hard to see anything but a convincing Aston Villa victory in this one. Spurs are already ravished by injury and Ange cannot afford to lose anymore players ahead of the Europa League final. Villa have everything still to play for and will come flying out the blocks here. Aston Villa to win the match looks the safe option but you could also bet on Villa -1 which means if they win by two or more goals that leg of the bet is a winner.

Ollie Watkins to score anytime

Watkins was the match winner at Bournemouth last weekend and he is predicted to be at the forefront of Villa’s attacking play this Friday night. The England striker will certainly get chances against this Tottenham defence and it would be no surprise to see him net a couple of goals to keep Villa’s Champions League hopes alive.

Richarlison to be carded

Richarlison is likely to start up front with Solanke rested ahead of the final and it could be a frustrating match for the Brazil striker. He will have to do a lot of closing down and might not see much of the ball in the match, which will certainly frustrate him. A late tackle or even dissent is not out of the question here so he looks a decent bet for a card.
