There’s a varied set of fixtures on Friday night with games from all over Europe. We’re hoping for plenty of entertaining ahead of the weekend and we’ve picked out four matches which should feature three or more goals.
We’re beginning Friday’s accumulator with a trip to Russia. This top flight game could be a really decent watch with Ufa always a tough nut to crack at home. So far, Ufa have netted in every single home game, scoring eight times in front of their own fans, and they should be able to find the net against a defensively suceptible Spartak Moscow. Three of their five home matches would have paid out for Over 2.5 Goals backers, and they certainly should get on the score-sheet here. Spartak arrive off the back of conceding twice to Ural, and they’ve lost back-to-back home matches in the RPL. They have found the net in three of their four away games this campaign with only Tambov preventing them from hitting the target. Their four matches have contained 13 goals so far this season, and they should play their part in an entertaining contest. Ufa could easily pick up another big home win here, but Spartak should create plenty of chances.
This Bundesliga.2 game has the potential to be hugely entertaining on Friday evening. Neither side started the season convincingly, but they appear to have turned the corner. Heidenheim have scored just 11 times in six matches so far, although five of those strikes have come in the last couple of matches. They appeared to be back on track with a thumping 3-0 win over Holsten Kiel last weekend, and that followed on from a credible 2-2 draw away at Nurnberg. Darmstadt are struggling for form, and they showed their defensive vulnerabilities in a 3-3 draw at home to Nurnberg last weekend. They conceded 17 shots in that match, and Serdar Dursun’s double does suggest they have some firepower in their squad. They have shipped six goals in their last three away matches, and are yet to keep a clean sheet on the road.
FC Twente have been a revelation this campaign, and the Enschede side sit behind both PSV and Ajax in the Eredivisie table. They come into this local derby having won 3-2 at Fortuna Sittard, and despite the suspension of Nakamura, they should be able to continue their fine run of form here. Heracles have not been famed for their away form in recent seasons, however they’ve already picked up three points against Groningen and picked up a 1-1 draw at Fortuna Sittard. Games between these sides are always very entertaining and the last two meetings between the sides have both ended 2-1. Heracles have now scored six times in their last two matches, and with the hosts yet to keep to clean sheet, they will be expected to find a way through here. Another entertaining evening in the Eredivisie is expected.
The Ekstraklasa is calling for our fourth a final tip on Friday evening. Jagiellonia have been very impressive so far, and they have the second best away form in the division. The visitors are unbeaten on the road, scoring eight times so far. Two of their four away matches have featured three or more goals, and although they’ve kept two clean sheets, they’ve come against underperforming duo Arka Gdynia and Korona Kielce. Only two sides have scored more goals than Lech Poznan so far this campaign with the hosts having netted 13 times so far. They’ve been defeated by both Cracovia Krakow and Slask Wroclaw, but they netted in both games. These two sides sit alongside Jagiellonia in the table, and we can expect a similar result this time around. The hosts have conceded 11 times so far, and that is a worry. Not for goals backers though.
