Over 2.5 Goals Betting Tips

Parma vs Roma – Over 2.5 Goals

Roma have hit a hot streak and Paulo Fonseca’s men are now five games unbeaten in Serie A. The capital club have started to score goals for fun and despite 2-1 to Bundesliga pacesetters Monchengladbach on Thursday night, they will fancy their chances of securing three points here. Experienced Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko is still firing them in and he is likely to get a few opportunities on Sunday afternoon. They’ve barely put a foot wrong on the road so far and have kept three clean sheets in a row on their travels. However, it’s never easy going to Parma and there could be some tired legs on show following their midweek trip to Germany. Although they failed to net here against Juventus, the hosts haven’t been shy in the final third this season and scored twice at the San Siro against Inter. They also fired five past Genoa and three past Torino. They should make a game of it here. Roma have scored at least two goals in each of their last four visits to this ground and that bodes well for another high-scoring 90 minutes on Sunday.

Cardiff City vs Bristol City – Over 2.5 Goals

Another Severnside derby is taking place on Sunday and it could be a memorable 90 minutes. Cardiff’s 4-2 victory over Birmingham last weekend was further evidence that the Bluebirds just cannot defend at the moment. The Welsh side went down to ten men, but refused to accept their fate and continued to attack the visitors. Neil Warnock’s side have the second best home form in the league and have netted 14 times so far. They have kept just two clean sheets in front of their own fans, with the last of those arriving on October 2nd. Bristol City’s away games have contained over 3 goals per match on average and they’ve been very entertaining to follow. Lee Johnson has had to juggle his squad due to an early-season injury crisis, but they have still be excellent in the final third despite some notable absentees. Every single one of the Robins’ away games has contained at least two goals whilst 75% of them have also landed Over 2.5 Goals.

Getafe vs Osasuna – Over 2.5 Goals

Both of these sides have made a decent start to the 2019-20 La Liga season and they’re playing some decent football along the way. The hosts start the day a point above Osasuna and arrive in much better form. Only table toppers Barcelona have won at this ground with Getafe winning three of their last four home matches. They’ve also netted a few times in front of their own fans and stuck three past Granada, four past Mallorca and two past Leganes. The visitors will also look to get involved here and they arrive full of confidence following 4-2 victory at home to Alaves. Despite seemingly being in control of that game, they still managed to concede twice and make it nervy for the home fans. Their last three matches have contained 14 goals and we could be on for another decent afternoon of entertainment here. Both teams have found the net in each of the last three meetings at this ground.

Montpellier vs Toulouse – Over 2.5 Goals

Montpellier have some of the best home form on offer in Ligue 1 and they are incredibly hard to beat at Stade de la Mosson. Although they drew 0-0 with a stubborn Angers side last time out, they can usually be relied upon to find the back of the net in front of their own fans. They’ve already put three past Monaco and two past Nice. Although they are difficult to breach, they have conceded in three of their four fixtures against sides below them in the table. Toulouse certainly fit that bill. They’ve been fairly open this season, and that has provided plenty of entertainment for the neutrals. They’re yet to keep a clean sheet on their travels and recently lost 3-2 at Rennes. There have been 21 goals in their last five fixtures and another action-packed 90 minutes seemed likely.
