Fantasy Football Gameweek 34+ Advice, Tips and Preview
Just five Gameweeks remain as the Fantasy Premier League season draws to a close but there is little time to rest between the end of 33 and start of 34.
Here’s our look at some potential midweek picks for Gameweek 34+ and you can also get our FPL captains advice for GW34 where we need to choose between the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Bruno Fernandes ahead of favourable fixtures this week.
Goalkeepers and Defenders Tips
We start off this week with Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma (4.7m). The Blues haven’t been the best source of clean sheets but looked comfortable against Watford at the weekend. Zouma started his first game since Chelsea’s 4-0 win over Everton and faces three of the bluntest attacks in the league in his next three.
Christian Kabesele (4.3m) faces a Norwich side who have yet to score since the restart. Watford have been poor recently but in a crucial relegation six-pointer, he could be a good short-term differential pick.
Midfielders Tips
Christian Pulisic (7.2m) continues to offer reasons for selection. Chelsea’s aforementioned strong fixtures strengthen his case with the American having registered an attacking return in each of his four games since the restart. Two goals and three assists (each earned by being fouled) highlight his importance to the Blues’ push for the op four.
Our second Watford pick is winger Ismaila Sarr (6.1m). The Senegal international may not have scored or assisted since the 3-0 win over Liverpool but faces a Norwich side down on their knees and is surely Watford’s most likely scorer. Selected by just 1.7% of managers at the time of writing, he could be a great differential.
Andriy Yarmolenko (5.2m) is one to watch as we reach the conclusion to the season. The Ukrainian has looked dangerous in West Ham’s last two games, coming off the bench in each. Yarmolenko scored the winner against Chelsea and could potentially be an enormous differential with just 0.7% ownership.
Tottenham have looked far from their best recently but come up against a Bournemouth side looking destined for the drop. The Cherries conceded five to Manchester United and have looked leaky for some time. Another differential pick presents themselves in the form of Steven Bergwijn (7.3m) for this one. The Dutch international has three goals in seven starts since joining.
Forwards Tips
Perhaps more than just a cheap enabler, Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood (4.5m) has been making a strong case for inclusion with/instead of Marcus Rashford. The Red Devils have one the best run-ins on paper and are bang in form. Greenwood scored his first Premier League brace to take him to eight league goals for the season.
Olivier Giroud (6.6m) isn’t the most glamour pick but has quietly gone about his business establishing himself as Chelsea’s first-choice striker. The World Cup winner has four goals in his last six starts and is certainly ahead of Tammy Abraham in the pecking order for the foreseeable.
