Championship races — The Champion Hurdle (Tuesday), Queen Mother Champion Chase (Wednesday), Ryanair Chase and Stayers’ Hurdle (Thursday), and Gold Cup (Friday) are the five headline races. If you have a strong view on any of the Championship races, this is the natural home for your credits.
Novice races — The Supreme Novices’ Hurdle, Arkle, and Ballymore often carry bigger prices than the Championship races, giving your credits more value. A £10 credit on a 6/1 novice selection returns £60 in winnings versus £10 on an even-money favourite returning £10.
Handicaps — The Ultima, Coral Cup, and County Hurdle have large fields and generous odds. If you are comfortable with bigger-priced selections, these races give your credits the best chance of a significant return.
