Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals – 11/20 with William Hill
Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Anytime Goalscorer – 6/5 with Ladbrokes
The first of today’s free football tips is LA Galaxy +1 on the handicap market. Bob Bradley’s Los Angeles FC have outstanding home form and remain unbeaten in nine games at the Banc of California Stadium. They’ve taken all three points on five occasions but they’ve also drawn four times and they’ve been against the likes of Portland Timbers, New York City FC and FC Fallas. Each of these sides are towards the top end of their respective conferences and have been in excellent form at the time of their meeting with Los Angeles. LA Galaxy fit that mould. The Carsen club have been in excellent form and come off the back of an impressive 3-1 away win at Philadelphia Union. That makes it three wins in a row with 11 goals scored during that sequence and they are clearly a side playing with plenty of confidence. It’s now just one defeat in ten for Sigi Schmid’s side and with local bragging rights at stake, they should return from their short trip with something to show for it. LA Galaxy +1 on the handicap is the first of our Los Angeles FC vs LA Galaxy prediction and can be backed at 21/20 with Bet365 which is a standout price.

The MLS always produces plenty of excitement and goals are to be expected in this tie. LA Galaxy are free-scoring at the moment and have netted 18 times in their last six matches. Los Angeles may have drawn 0-0 with Portland Timbers during their last home matches but the Timbers are defensively robust on their travels and the same can’t be said for Galaxy. It’s just two clean sheets in seven for the visitors with both of those shutouts arriving at home. The second of our Los Angeles vs LA Galaxy predictions is Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals which is available at 11/20 with William Hill.
Our final football prediction comes from the anytime goalscorer market and it’s hard to overlook the in-form Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swede isn’t exactly shy and retiring and is clearly relishing the spotlight. He has been scoring for fun in recent weeks and has netted 12 times in total. He scored twice when LA Galaxy won 4-3 at the Stub Hub Arena earlier this year and will be licking his lips at the prospect of repeating the trick. He is 6/5 with Ladbrokes to find the net inside 90 minutes and concludes our Los Angeles vs LA Galaxy predictions.

LA Galaxy have won four of their first ten away matches this season including each of the last two.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has 12 goals in 15 appearances.
This is just the second meeting between these two rivals. It ended 4-3 to LA Galaxy in March. It was 2-0 to LAFC at half-time.
LA Galaxy only won three of their first ten MLS games this season.
Los Angeles FC are unbeaten at home so far this season
Bob Bradley’s side have only won one of the last four matches in the MLS
They’ve conceded just six goals at home all season.
Carlos Vela may only be Los Angeles’ second top goalscorer with seven strikes but he plays a key role in the side and the Mexican’s willingness to run at the opposition is likely to spark panic in the LA Galaxy back-line. He is back from the World Cup and is likely to start this game. Latif Blessing has chalked up a number of assists recently and could also be key.
Romain Alessandrini may be playing second fiddle to Zlatan this season but he has churned out six goals and assists in his last three matches and helps Galaxy tick. He will once again be tasked with supplying Ola Kamara and Zlatan but may also find the net and is available at 21/10 with Betfred to score anytime.
