The 2018 World Cup continues on Wednesday with four matches taking place throughout the day. Groups E and F conclude as four more sides are eliminated from the competition. We’ve picked out today’s best World Cup betting tips.
Mexico v Sweden – (Group F) – 3pm – Central Stadium, Yekaterinburg
South Korea vs Germany – (Group F) – 3pm – Kazan Arena
Serbia vs Brazil – (Group E) – 7pm – Otkrytiye Stadium, Moscow
Switzerland vs Costa Rica – (Group E) – 7pm – Nizhny Novgorod Stadium
Mexico have enjoyed a tremendous 2018 World Cup so far and they will be aiming to finish off the group stage in style. They play with plenty of energy and pace and have been one of the most entertaining teams to watch at the tournament so far. Juan Carlos Osorio will want his side to pick up as least a point from this game and he is unlikely to make too many changes. Sweden blew their chances in the last minute against Germany by conceding a sloppy free-kick on the edge of the area and they will be kicking themselves. Janne Andersson’s side have been solid enough and they will certainly make it difficult for their opponents in this match. They’ve netted in both of their Group F games so far and should be able to find a way past the Mexican defence. They need to pick up maximum points from tie and that could lead to an entertaining 90 minutes. Both Teams to Score ? Yes is priced at 5/6 with Paddy Power and their free £20 bet can be used to back goals in this tie.

South Korea are leaving empty-handed. They are bottom of Group F and cannot qualify but they can do Mexico and Sweden a huge favour in their last match. Germany need to pick up maximum points in this tie to ensure they book their place in the knock-out round and they should do it, although it won’t be easy. South Korea have made things difficult for both Mexico and Sweden with the latter scoring from the penalty spot following a VAR review. Mexico netted twice before a spirited comeback gave them a late scare. They are quite tough to break down and Germany may have to be patient. Joachim Low’s side came back from the dead against Sweden, netting two second half goals but their defending leaves a lot to be desired. They are missing Jerome Boateng for this tie but Mats Hummels should return to the side. They may only sneak this game and Germany to Win by a 1 Goal Margin is available at 56/19 with Sport Pesa. You can use their free £10 bet to back this selection.
It’s been a funny old tournament for Brazil who have come up against some tough teams and this game looks to be heading along a similar line. They were pegged back against Switzerland and created enough chances to win the game before taking 90 minutes to forge a way past Costa Rica. Neymar has been fouled every few seconds and they’ve relied heavily on Phillipe Coutinho. They have looked defensively sound so far and have only conceded a single goal, which was heavily disputed. Serbia began with a narrow win against Costa Rica, owing to a moment of brilliance from Aleksandar Kolarov before blowing a lead against Switzerland. They are unlikely to qualify but they will want to go out on a high. Tite’s men are superbly well-organised and I don’t see this being a high-scoring game. Both Teams to Score? No looks a decent option at 3/4 with Ladbrokes. You can use their £50 free bet to back this selection.
How to use the Ladbrokes £50 free bet on England/England:
2 Bet £50 on our selection to win at odds of 5/6

Switzerland have been very impressive at the 2018 World Cup. Much was made of their lack of firepower but they’ve proved equally effective in both halves and they look like they could progress deep into the tournament. They end Group E with arguably their easiest fixture and three points here will see them sail through to the knock-out round. Costa Rica aren’t the force of 2014 and have struggled with firepower so far. They had opportunities against Brazil but they weren’t able to take advantage and they are likely to head home without a point to their name. Vladimir Petkovic’s side should get this done fairly routinely and Switzerland to Win to Nil is priced at 17/10 with William Hill. You can use their £30 free bet and daily bet boost on this selection.
