World Cup betting tips for Group G where England are joined by Belgium, Panama and Tunisia. England and Belgium will be widely expected to dominate this group but Tunisia will be waiting to pounce should either of them slip up. Panama are debutantes at the tournament and will be looking to make an impact at the 2018 World Cup but they’ve been drawn in a tough group.
Both Belgium and England will fancy their chances of finishing top of this section and a winnable game against Group H opposition awaits in the round of 16. The Red Devils are the 4/5 favourites with Ladbrokes to win Group G whilst England can be supported at 5/4. They are long odds-on to both qualify for the next round and they will face one another in the final group game on June 28th.
Belgium are fancied to finish top of Group G and they have the firepower to qualify with ease. They have a talented squad featuring Kevin de Bruyne, Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku. Those three Premier League stars are joined by Napoli hot-shot Dries Mertens and holding midfielder Axel Witsel. However, questions remain over their defence and the fitness of Vincent Kompany. Manager Roberto Martinez wasn’t famed for his defensive tactics at Everton and they despite their pace, power and ruthlessness in the final third, they can often come unstuck at the back. I think it’s worth taking a chance on England to take advantage of Belgium’s sloppiness at the back and the Three Lions should be backed to finish above their fellow Europeans. England to Finish Top is the first of our World Cup betting tips in Group G. The odds are 7/5 with Paddy Power
Despite their defensive frailties, Belgium should score plenty of goals in Group G. They hit four past Costa Rica on May 11th and they are likely to put Panama to the sword. Romelu Lukaku netted twice in that game and he always performs well against weaker opposition. He should be able to grab a few and he’s unlikely to be surpassed by any of his teammates. As long as he is fit, he is likely to start every single game at the 2018 World Cup. Romelu Lukaku to be Belgium’s Top Goalscorer is the second of our World Cup betting tips in Group G. The odds are 15/8 with Betfred.

Panama did tremendously well to qualify for the 2018 World Cup but they aren’t expected to pull up any trees here. They have a limited side, many of whom play in lesser leagues and they netted very few goals throughout qualifying. They are defensively secure but they rarely offer anything in the final third and they could struggle to find a way past any of the sides in their section. England conceded just three times during qualifying, Tunisia are tough to break down and even Belgium’s unreliable defence should be able to keep them at bay. Panama to Not Score at the Tournament is the third of our World Cup betting tips in Group G and can be backed at 9/2 with William Hill. It can be found in their #YourOdds section.
