Reasons for this Weekend’s BTTS Betting Tips

A free-scoring Oxford team will be seeking more goals when hosting a decent Doncaster outfit this weekend and that clash features in this Saturday BTTS Accumulator alongside a top of the table fixture in League Two between Exeter and Forest Green Rovers. A game involving a recently improved Scunthorpe team facing Northampton is also covered from League Two as is the National League game at Meadow Lane where goals are expected as Notts County welcome Torquay.

Oxford vs Doncaster BTTS Tip

Apart from a 0-0 draw earned at Bolton last month, Oxford have netted in every League One fixture this season which includes scoring three times in each of their last three league fixtures at the Kassam Stadium. United also beat West Ham 4-0 at the venue during September and now face a Doncaster outfit which should have beaten Coventry in their last League One away match but for conceding a very late equaliser. Rovers have failed to net in just two league fixtures this season and as with their hosts, they scored twice in midweek EFL Trophy action.

Exeter vs Forest Green Rovers BTTS Tip

Seven goals netted in winning their latest couple of League Two matches have helped propel Forest Green Rovers to the top of the table and a 4-0 win at Salford in their previous away fixture was particularly impressive. Rovers now visit second-placed Exeter with the hosts scoring in every league fixture this season apart from a 0-0 stalemate at Oldham during August. Both teams have scored in five of the last six league games played by Exeter.

Scunthorpe vs Northampton BTTS Tip

It was not a good start to the season for Scunthorpe with only one League Two point earned during August but there have been recent signs of an upturn in fortunes. The Iron have lost just once in five outings with eight goals scored during those games including a 1-1 home draw against Bradford when reduced to ten players after twenty minutes action. Scunthorpe welcome Northampton on Saturday with the visitors failing to score for the first time in seven league games when incurring a 1-0 home loss last weekend. Several goal-scoring opportunities were spurned by the Cobblers during that defeat by Leyton Orient.

Notts County vs Torquay BTTS Tip

It could be fair to say that Notts County may now be adjusting to life in National League football after winning four of their latest six matches and netting twice in each of the last four of those games. Only Solihull and Eastleigh have denied County a goal this season and Torquay will attempt to become only the second away team to win at Meadow Lane in league action this term. The Gulls have netted twelve goals in their last four games with four scored in three games played since the beginning of September.
