The Cheltenham Festival runs from Tuesday 10th to Friday 13th March 2026. On a 24-runner handicap hurdle, the difference between finishing third and fifth is the entire value of your place bet. Money-Back Specials refund stakes (usually as cash or free bets) under specific conditions — most commonly if your horse finishes second, second to the favourite, or is beaten by a very short margin. Coral’s Beaten by a Neck offer is a confirmed recurring Festival promotion. Each-Way Extra — On selected races, bet365 allows you to negotiate additional place terms in exchange for slightly reduced each-way odds. The number of extra places available and the price reduction are shown on the betslip when you add an each-way selection.

Betfred’s existing customer offer at Cheltenham is built around extra places, which is where they consistently lead the market.
Extra Places — Betfred offers extra places on four or five competitive Festival handicaps every day, typically paying five or six places instead of the standard three or four at 1/5 odds. The races are published on the Betfred promotions page from the evening before each day. The County Hurdle, Coral Cup, Pertemps, Ultima and Martin Pipe are regular selections. In a 24-runner race, Betfred paying six places instead of four is the difference between a place return and losing the entire each-way bet for horses finishing fifth or sixth.

William Hill’s most notable recent existing customer offer was the Champion Day completely free bet run in 2025, and the daily Epic Price Boosts run throughout the Festival.
Champion Day Free Bet (2025, expected 2026) — All qualifying William Hill customers received a free bet for the opening day of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival, with no deposit required and no qualifying bet needed. The value varied between customers, but required opting in via the promotions page. This is the most generous no-obligation existing customer offer run by any bookmaker in recent Festivals. It has not yet been confirmed for 2026, but ran in both 2024 and 2025.
Epic Price Boosts — Daily enhanced odds on a selected Festival runner from 10am. Similar format to bet365’s Super Boost. Three bet boosts available per customer per day across horse racing singles, with a maximum stake of £20 win or £20 each-way. For each-way bets, the boost applies to the win portion only.
Daily Racing Winnings Boost — Apply a profit boost to any horse racing single, one per customer per day. The boost is applied as a cash top-up on winnings, capped at £20 per day. Available on win and each-way bets across all Cheltenham races.
Extra Places — William Hill run extra place races on selected Festival handicaps each day. These are confirmed on the racecards and promotions page from the morning of each race. Often, different races to those selected by Betfred, making it valuable to hold both accounts.

Ladbrokes’ most practical ongoing Festival feature is their Daily Odds Boost, which gives each existing customer the ability to boost the odds on one bet of their choice per day, rather than being limited to a bookmaker-selected market.
Daily Odds Boost — Opt in and apply a personal odds boost to any Cheltenham selection once per day. The maximum boost and eligible bet types are confirmed on the promotions page. Tote Pools — For Ladbrokes customers, Tote pool betting runs alongside fixed-odds markets from the same account. At Cheltenham, Tote pool prices on competitive handicaps can be more generous than the fixed-odds market, particularly in races with large fields and wide betting.

Coral
Coral’s most distinctive ongoing Cheltenham existing customer offer is Beaten by a Neck, which pays existing customers as a winner if their horse finishes second, beaten by a neck or less.
Beaten by a Neck (cash) — Available on all Cheltenham Festival races. If your selection finishes second, beaten by a neck or less behind the winner, Coral pay you as if your horse won — up to £10 stake per race. You must place a win or each-way single of at least £1 to qualify. Ante-post bets placed before 18th February 2025 did not qualify in 2025; a similar cutoff is expected in 2026. The critical point: refunds are paid in cash, not free bets, which makes this more valuable than a standard money-back special. At Cheltenham, where photo finishes are common and Grade 1 races are frequently decided by short margins, this offers genuine cover.
Extra Places — Coral runs extra place promotions on selected Festival handicaps, often overlapping with but not identical to Ladbrokes’ selection for the same day.

Check promotions pages before 10am each day. Most daily price boosts and extra place announcements go live between 8am and 10am each Festival morning.
