Premier League Predictions – Preview and Score Betting Tip for Each Saturday Fixture
The action in the Premier League does not stop and our Saturday predictions for this weekend focuses on the six matches from the top flight including Wolves vs Brentford and Aston Villa vs Everton live on TV.
Every week we witness some surprising results, as well as free-flowing entertaining football. The table slowly takes its form, and we can get a general picture of which teams will be at the summit come may.
However, let’s not get carried away, it is still early days, and knowing how unpredictable the Premier League can be, we can expect everything to happen between now and May. The European competitions have started this week, so the schedule becomes tight for the Premier League sides participating in it, and this is the period where we can see how much of it they can endure. Let’s take a closer look at the fixtures awaiting us this weekend.
Saturday’s Premier League Fixtures
- 12.30pm – Wolves vs Brentford
- 3pm – Burnley vs Arsenal
- 3pm – Liverpool vs Crystal Palace
- 3pm – Manchester City vs Southampton
- 3pm – Norwich vs Watford
- 5.30pm – Aston Villa vs Everton
Wolves vs Brentford: Narrow win for the Hosts
Saturday’s Premier League action starts with this game at the Molineux. Wolves finally got their first win of the season against Watford last week, so much of the weight on their shoulders has fallen, and they can calmly prepare for this game.
They are up against Brentford, the new addition to the Premier League, who started the season brightly. They go into this game having lost last week’s game against Brighton at home. The last time these two sides met was in 2018 in the Championship when Wolves won 3-0. It is difficult to separate these two, but we can see the home side just edging this one.
Score Prediction: Wolves 1-0 Brentford (26/5 with SBK)
Burnley vs Arsenal: Gunners to carry on improving
Burnley do not look like themselves this season, and that is a worrying sign for Sean Dyche. They were known as the team who is difficult to crack, who will fight with tooth and nail for every ball, every point, but so far this season teams have breezed past them, so the alarm bells are ringing there.
Arsenal were equally disappointing in the first three games of the season, and they finally secured their first win and scored their first goal against Norwich at the Emirates last week. The Gunners haven’t won against Burnley in the last 3 games, but we back them to keep the momentum going and secure the three points.
Score Prediction: Burnley 0-2 Arsenal (10/1 with SBK)
Liverpool vs Crystal Palace: Easy home win at Anfield
Liverpool have started this season very promising, as they have recorded three wins and a draw so far. They seem to be back to their best after the troubles they had last season, and this is another game that looks ideal for them to keep on the winning streak.
Crystal Palace have finally recorded their first win under new manager Patrick Vieira, who seems to be able to steady the ship at last. They have only won once in the last ten games against the Reds, and that win came in 2017, and this game will probably be another in which they will go home empty-handed. We back the home side to record another comfortable win.
Score Prediction: Liverpool 3-0 Crystal Palace (7/1 with William Hill)
Manchester City vs Southampton: City to breeze past Saints
Manchester City lost the opening game of the season against Spurs, but they have not looked back since. The Citizens have won the last three games without conceding a goal, so it is safe to say that they are back to their usual selves.
Next up for them is Southampton, a team that has not yet recorded their first win. They managed to get three draws and a defeat so far, and it is not a disaster, but they know they should do better. Last season’s game at the Etihad between these two was entertaining as the home side won 5-2, so neutrals will hope for a similar goal-fest. We can’t see anything else than a home win.
Score Prediction: Manchester City 3-0 Southampton (13/2 with bet365)
Norwich vs Watford: Canaries to win battle of the newcomers
The newcomers in the league face each other in a game of the utmost importance for both. Norwich sit at the rock bottom of the Premier League, having lost all four games so far, scoring just one and conceding eleven in the process.
Watford have recorded one win so far, but they have lost the last two games without scoring a goal, so their confidence will be shot. Watford have won the last four games against Norwich, but this is a must-win game for the home side, and the crowd will be up for it, so Norwich will have all the help they need to record their first win.
Score Prediction: Norwich 1-0 Watford (7/1 with bet365)
Aston Villa vs Everton: Spoils to be shared in late kick-off
Aston Villa have endured a mixed start to the season so far, collecting only four points, but that was to be expected, given the changes that they’ve had to go through during the summer. They lost their last game away at Stamford Bridge, so they will be looking to bounce back on home ground.
Everton have been impressive this season, and new manager Rafa Benitez has clearly done an amazing job in stabilizing the team. They sit joint-top of the league having collected 10 points so far, and they will be confident going into this one. However, Aston Villa will cause them problems, so we can’t see anything past a draw on Saturday.
Score Prediction: Aston Villa 1-1 Everton (6/1 with Bet Victor)
