Aston Villa vs Chelsea Predictions
I don’t think Villa will lose here at home, so we’re going with Villa or draw as our first selection. The Villains have lost just one league game at home this season, which is excellent home form, and come in to this one unbeaten in three in all competitions with one win at two draws. Their last five home matches in the league have been unbeaten, with four draws and one win. Chelsea have won just one of their last four in all competitions and come into this one following back-to-back defeats to Brighton in the league and cup. I can’t see them beating Villa here. Ollie Watkins is having a great season in the claret and blue of Villa. The England striker has bagged 12 goals in the league this season, accompanied by five assists which is a great return. He also has a goal and four assists in his eight appearances in the Champions League. Villa will create plenty of chances here and I think Watkins to score or assist is a strong bet. We’re going for two players to be carded in this one – Moises Caicedo and Boubakar Kamara. Caicedo has been booked eight times this season, seven times in the league and once in the Carabao Cup. He averages over two fouls per game with a massive 52 fouls in 25 matches. He will make a number of fouls here against an aggressive Villa midfield. Kamara has been carded four times this season, twice in the league and twice in the Champions League. He averages over a foul per game, and he will make at least one foul here in what I expect to be a real battle in the middle. Both players are good odds for a card here. How to get the BetMGM Welcome Bonus
