Manchester United vs Everton: Toffees to come unstuck

Manchester United head into this game on the back of a disappointing 1-0 home defeat against Aston Villa last Sunday. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team is undoubtedly full of talent, but they are yet to gel together and produce team performances.

Everton look stable under Rafael Benitez and they are level on points with their opponents, so they can be confident of getting something from this game. However, history is not on their side, as they haven’t won at Old Trafford since 2013. The Red Devils need to bounce back from their defeat last weekend, and we back them to do so.

Score Prediction: Manchester United 2-0 Everton (13/2)

Burnley vs Norwich: Early season 6-pointer

It’s very simple, this game is a 6-pointer for both teams. They are yet to record a win so far in the season, and they occupy the bottom 2 places in the Premier League table. Burnley managed to get two draws, while Norwich sit rock bottom with no points so far.

Pressure mounts on both managers, even though Sean Dyche recently signed a new contract with Burnley. Norwich are all over the place, and they need to start picking up points fast if they want to avoid a swift return to the Championship. This is a difficult game to preview, and a draw works for nothing for both teams, so we back Burnley to use their home advantage and just edge it.

Score Prediction: Burnley 1-0 Norwich (7/1)

Chelsea vs Southampton: Blues back to winning ways

Chelsea need to bounce back from the disappointing result against Manchester City last weekend when they were beaten and dominated by Manchester City. The scoreline at Stamford Bridge should have been much greater than 1-0.

This might be the perfect game for them to go back to winning ways, as they are up against a Southampton side who struggle for consistency this season, and have trouble scoring goals. Last season’s match at Stamford Bridge between these two finished in a high-scoring 3-3 draw, so we hope for a similar amount of goals on Saturday. It won’t be a draw, however, as Chelsea will simply have too much for the Saints.

Score Prediction: Chelsea 3-0 Southampton (9/1)

Leeds vs Watford: Leeds to finally win

Much more was expected of Leeds this season, but they have been very poor so far. They still wait for their first win, and they sit in the bottom half of the table with just 3 points. Marcelo Bielsa must quickly solve the problems before his team walks into trouble and the relegation places.

Watford can be pleased with their start of the campaign, picking up 7 points and playing good football. They have some talented players like Ismaila Sarr, so they will fancy their chances of survival this term. Traditionally, this game brings lots of goals, so we hope for history to repeat on Saturday. Leeds must win this one, and we believe they will.

Score Prediction: Leeds 2-0 Watford (9/1)

Wolvers vs Newcastle: Toon Army to lose again

Wolves will be flying with confidence after last week’s win at Saint Mary’s, in a game that saw Raul Jimenez score his first goal a year after his horrific injury against Arsenal. However, this season might still prove to be difficult for them, as they have had to endure many changes during the summer.

Newcastle seem to be going down, and off-field problems are something that makes the whole situation at the club problematic. The players don’t look like they are happy at the moment, the fans are not happy, so the situation is worrying. Wolves will take advantage of that and take all 3 points.

Score Prediction: Wolves 2-1 Newcastle (8/1)

Brighton vs Arsenal: Gunners to continue revival

Brighton will be high on confidence having secured a last-gasp draw against Crystal Palace, thanks to a late Neal Maupay goal. They are a pleasant surprise so far in the Premier League, sitting a point behind league leaders Liverpool.

Arsenal finally seem to be getting results, and they play some exciting football. Mikel Arteta’s game-plan finally seems to be working, and his team are reaping the awards for it. They were impressive in the North London derby last week, and we back them to continue their great form on Saturday.

Score Prediction: Brighton 1-3 Arsenal (20/1)
