Saturday Accumulator Tips – 11/1 Win Coupon from the FA Cup and Scotland

accumulator tips

Football accumulator tips for this weekend’s Saturday afternoon matches in the FA Cup and Scotland including the reasons for each pick and which bookmaker to use on our accumulator bet.

FA Cup First Round action dominates this Saturday accumulator bet with in-form Charlton set to host poor travellers Plymouth while struggling Southend face competent National League team Boreham Wood.

Port Vale and Salford are tipped to overcome lower league opposition whereas the final selection covers the Scottish Championship with Hearts bidding to continue their impressive start to the season when hosting Inverness.

See the five selections for our bet below and why each team has made it into the accumulator.

Charlton vs Plymouth Betting Tip – Charlton win.

There is a renewed sense of optimism at Charlton with new ownership and the first team winning their last six League One matches. Beating Portsmouth and a decent Fleetwood team in their latest two games was particularly impressive and Addicks now host this FA Cup tie against a Plymouth outfit which has yet to win a league game on the road this season. Despite being a powerful team at Home Park, the Pilgrims lost at Hull and Lincoln last month without scoring and are facing another defeat at the Valley.

Boreham Wood vs Southend Betting Tip – Boreham Wood win.

A wretched season to date continues for Southend with six successive League Two defeats suffered culminating in a midweek 3-0 loss at Bradford. Just two points have been earned by the Shrimpers and they have scored only one goal on their travels ahead of this visit to Boreham Wood for an FA Cup tie. The hosts have yet to concede a goal on home soil this term following a reasonable start to their campaign in both the National League and FA Cup. Having won their two previous competitive games, the Wood could overcome their struggling fourth-tier opponents and win this tie.

Port Vale vs Kings Lynn Town Betting Tip – Port Vale win.

Ahead of hosting this FA Cup First Round, Port Vale’s midweek League Two game was postponed but they had won their three previous games in league action. Salford and Cheltenham have both been beaten at Vale Park in recent weeks with Kings Lynn Town set to be the next visitors to the venue. The National League outfit have conceded at least twice in each of their competitive matches this term and were awarded a bye in the previous round when Notts County were victims of the coronavirus. Defensive weaknesses in the away team are likely to ensure a win for Vale.

Salford vs Hartlepool Betting Tip – Salford win.

Unbeaten in competitive action since the start of the season, it was then a surprise for Hartlepool when they were beaten 5-0 on home soil by Torquay last weekend in the National League. Manager Dave Challinor will be expecting a positive response from his ‘Pool players but visiting Salford for this FA Cup tie will be no easy task. The hosts have yet to lose a League Two game on home turf this season with seven points claimed from three previous fixtures at the Peninsula Stadium. Although the North East team may improve from last Saturday, a Salford win is tipped.

Hearts vs Inverness Betting Tip – Hearts win.

After their relegation from the Scottish Premiership last season, Hearts reappointed Robbie Neilson as manager and that decision is already yielding useful results. The Edinburgh team had won every competitive game this term before beating city rivals Hibernian 2-1 after extra-time in the delayed Scottish Cup semi-final. Inverness will be their next challengers at Tynecastle and the Highlands outfit claimed a first victory of the campaign last time when overcoming Arbroath 3-1. Having already lost in League Cup action against Hearts during early October, Inverness are facing another loss.
