I’m backing Villa to win away from home here at Deepdale. Villa have won their last four games and have only lost two of their last 10 in all competitions. They are having a good season – just two points outside of the top six in ninth and in the quarter-final of the Champions League. Preston have won just three of their last 10 and are 14^th in the Championship. Villa are clear favourites here, and I think they’ll have more than enough to overcome Preston and progress to the semi-final of the FA Cup. We’ve gone for two players to have one or more shots on target here: Marcus Rashford and Morgan Rogers. Rashford has four league goals to his name this season across his appearances for Man United and on loan at Villa. In those 20 matches, he has 11 shots on target, so an average of over 0.5 per game. He has looked a lot better since joining Villa, and with them likely to create a lot of chances here, I think he will have one or more shots on target. Rogers has 10 goals to his name this season, with seven in the league and three in the Champions League. He has 14 shots on target to his name in 28 league appearances, so an average of exactly 0.5 per game. Both players are good odds to have one or more here. We’re going for Marco Asensio to score here. He has been excellent since joining the Villains on loan from PSG, with five goals to his name in six competitive appearances – three in the Champions League and two in the league. In the league, he has three shots on target in four games, an average of just under one per game. I think there’s a great chance of him scoring here in what should be a straightforward win for his side.
