The Three Days of the Grand National Festival 2027

Each day of the Aintree festival has its own identity, building to the National on the Saturday.

Day 1 — Opening Day, Thursday 8 April 2027 The festival opens with seven races including three Grade 1s — the Aintree Hurdle, the Bowl Chase and the Manifesto Novices’ Chase. Gates open at 11:00am.

Day 2 — Ladies Day, Friday 9 April 2027 Aintree’s famous Ladies Day features the Melling Chase and Topham Chase — the latter run over the Grand National fences — with gates opening at 10:30am.

Day 3 — Grand National Day, Saturday 10 April 2027 The showpiece day, headlined by the Randox Grand National at approximately 4:00pm, with the supporting card including the Liverpool Hurdle and Maghull Novices’ Chase. Gates open at 10:00am.
