Spurs travel to Newcastle to take on Eddie Howe’s side at St James’ Park this Tuesday evening. These two are neck and neck in the league – in 12th and 13th position – both on 18 points.

Newcastle come into this one off the back of a 1-4 away victory against Everton – a very impressive display – and have won each of their last two Premier League games.

Spurs are on a very poor run, winless in their last four matches and having won just five of their 13 league matches so far this season.

Newcastle vs Tottenham Bet Builder Predictions

  • Newcastle to win (8/11)
  • Nick Woltemade over 0.5 shots on target (1/2)
  • Harvey Barnes over 0.5 shots on target (7/10)
  • Destiny Udogie to be carded (11/5)

BEST BET BUILDER TIP – Newcastle to win @ 8/11

Newcastle are on a reasonable run, with five league wins from their last 10 matches. They won last time out away against Everton, a game in which they played very well, and I think they’ll be full of confidence coming into this one. The same can’t be said for Spurs, who are lacking confidence big style. They have gone four games without a win, following defeats from Arsenal, PSG and Fulham. They didn’t win a league match in November, with their last victory coming over Everton on October 26. I think Newcastle will win this one at home.

Newcastle vs Spurs Shots on Target Tip – Nick Woltemade over 0.5 shots on target (1/2)

Newcastle’s new striker has started life at St James’ Park in fine fashion. Nick Woltemade has bagged seven goals since joining the Magpies in September with five in the Premier League, one in the Champions League and one in the Carabao Cup. In the league, he has had 19 shots, eight of which have been on target. That gives him an average just shy of one per game. Newcastle will create chances here in front of their home crowd, and I think he’s good odds to have one or more shit on target.

ALTERNATIVE BET – Nick Woltemade to score @ 5/4

Taking Woltemade to score in this one is good odds at 5/4. He scored last time out against Everton with a goal on the stroke of half-time. Taking him to score boosts this bet builder to 12/1 with Bet365.

Harvey Barnes over 0.5 shots on target (7/10)

Harvey Barnes has been excellent for Eddie Howe’s side in recent weeks. There has been plenty of attention on his name, as pundits and fans alike debate on whether he might make either Scotland or England’s World Cup squad for next summer, and he’s not doing himself any harm with his current form. He has scored seven goals this season – three in the league and four in the Champions League, with two coming against Man City just 10 days ago, before notching another against Marseille in the Champions League last week. He has had seven shots on target in the league, including one last time out against Everton, and I think he will have at least one here too.

Destiny Udogie to be carded (11/5)

I think Tottenham’s Destiny Udogie is good odds for a booking in this one. He has been carded once so far this season – coming last time out against Fulham – and I expect he will make a couple of fouls here. He has made six fouls so far this season, and he will be coming up directly against Anthony Elanga here, who has been fouled nine times in 13 matches. I think Udogie has a good chance of picking up his second booking in as many matches in this one, as Spurs fight to get back to winning ways.
