The best bet builder tip for Aston Villa vs Arsenal is Arsenal to win the match at odds of 19/20. See the rest of our bet builder below.

Aston Villa are in the midst of a strong run at the moment, having won six games on the bounce. They’re third in the Premier League. Arsenal are still top of the pile with 10 wins from 14 games, five ahead of Man City in second, and six clear of third-place Villa.

Aston Villa come into this one off the back of a dramatic 3-4 victory away to Brighton, which left them with six wins from six and eight wins from 14 league matches.

The Gunners are five points clear of Man City in second after 14 league matches. They have won 10, drawn three and lost just one match in the league so far this season. They are strong favourites to win the league at 4/9.

Aston Villa vs Arsenal Bet Builder Predictions

  • Arsenal to win (19/20)
  • Bukayo Saka over 0.5 shots on target (4/7)
  • Riccardo Calafiori 1+ fouls (1/5)
  • John McGinn to be carded (29/10)

BEST BET BUILDER TIP – Arsenal to win @ 19/20

The Gunners are unbeaten in their last 18 matches in all competitions, with their last defeat coming against Liverpool at Anfield back at the end of August. They’re top of the league with 33 points from 14 league matches. They’re also top of the Champions League table with five wins from five and 15 points, three clear of PSG in second. They come into this one off the back of a 2-0 victory over Brentford at home. Villa have won each of their last six matches, but I think Arsenal will have too much for them here, and I expect Mikel Arteta’s side to come out on top.

Bukayo Saka over 0.5 shots on target (4/7)

Bukayo Saka has had a strong season so far for Arsenal. He has scored seven goals in all competitions, with four in 12 in the Premier League. He has also scored two in four in the Champions League. Of his 25 shots in the Premier League, he has had 13 shots on target, giving him an average of more than one per game. He has also had eight shots on target in four Champions League matches, averaging two per game in that competition. Arsenal will create a lot of chances here, and I think Saka will have at least one shot on target.

ALTERNATIVE BET – Bukayo Saka to score @ 6/4

Saka will be full of confidence after his goal in midweek against Brentford. I expect Arsenal to have a lot of possession here and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Saka on the scoresheet again.

Riccardo Calafiori 1+ fouls (1/5)

I’m backing Riccardo Calafiori to make at least one foul in this one. The full back has been carded four times in the Premier League this season, making 20 fouls in the process – an average of more than 1.5 fouls per game. He will be coming up against the likes of Evann Guessand here, who has been fouled 10 times in 11 Prem outings, and six times in five Champions League appearances, meaning he draws an average of one foul per game. It’s short odds, but I think Calafiori is a dead cert to make at least one foul here.

John McGinn to be carded (29/10)

John McGinn was booked during the week in that 3-4 victory over Brighton, taking his card tally to four for the season, with three in the Champions League and one in the Europa League. He was also carded once throughout Scotland’s World Cup qualification campaign. He has made a total of 18 fouls in the league, and five in four in the Europa League, giving him an average of more than one per game. I think he’s good odds to pick up his fifth booking of the season.
