The demanding Championship fixture schedule is one that we’re all aware of, and fresh from the third round of matches, we embark on a full midweek fixture list across Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday’s live match sees us head to Loftus Road, where QPR take on Blackpool and we’ve picked out a bet builder tip for the match. The home side find themselves sat in 10^th place in the table having won one, drawn one and lost one in their opening three games. Their 2-2 draw at Sunderland at the weekend was nothing short of drama, with goalkeeper Seny Dieng scoring a 92^nd minute equaliser, a header of which any striker would have been proud of. Blackpool have lost their last two matches, and have failed to score since their opening day victory against Reading. They went down 1-0 at home to Swansea City at the weekend, conceding late on after missing an earlier spot-kick. QPR to win

QPR finished 11^th in the table last term, having seen their excellent form in the first half of the season dip off in the second half of the year. Their home form however was good, winning 10 of their league games in West London. They continued that decent record against Middlesbrough a few weeks back, emerging victorious in a five goal thriller. These two sides haven’t faced off much in recent years, only the four league outings between the two in the last 10 years in fact, but The R’s had the better of the visitors last year by winning at home and drawing in the away match at Bloomfield Road. I fancy QPR to maintain their 100% record at home this season on Tuesday evening.  

Ilias Chair to score or assist

If QPR are to win this one, I fancy their creative Moroccan attacking midfielder Ilias Chair to be in the thick of the action. He is arguably one of their best players and he has started this season in tremendous fashion, scoring an excellent free-kick on Saturday and notching up two assists already. He had his best attacking return last season, scoring nine goals and assisting five in the process. He’s an attacking playmaker who is comfortable getting at the opposition back line, playing in the hole and getting on the ball in dangerous positions. He loves to put crosses into the box, something their forward Lyndon Dykes will look to thrive upon this term. I’m confident that, if this one plays out the way I think it will, Chair will either find himself on the scoresheet or register an assist for one of his teammates.

Now this selection does come with risks, seeing as QPR have conceded four goals in their last two matches and have failed to keep a clean sheet at all so far this term. However, Blackpool are not the most prolific of sides and as mentioned, failed to score in their last two league fixtures. The Tangerines do have a creative attacking player themselves in Josh Bowler. He will be the man looking to make this happen for the away side, but I do think the home sides back line will look to isolate him and give him as little time as possible on the ball. I think their hero from the weekend, Dieng, will pick up his first clean sheet of the season on Tuesday evening.
