Team to win Prediction: Tottenham

Spurs will be looking to bounce back in fashion following their heavy defeat to mid-table Leicester City. The Foxes defeated Spurs 4-1 at the King Power Stadium, which was a very unexpected result, and one which I think will force Spurs to put on an exceptional performance in this one to repay the fans and regain their fine form. Prior to this defeat, they won three on the bounce, defeating both Fulham and Manchester City in the league and Preston North End in the FA Cup. AC Milan are in a very poor run of form, winning only one in their last eight games in all competitions. This came last time out in the form of a 1-0 win over Torino at the San Siro. In that time, they’ve been defeated 5-2 by Sassualo and 4-0 by Lazio. I expect Spurs to win this one, however, I do think it’ll be a close encounter.

Both teams to score? Yes

Both of these teams are certainly not completely solid at the back. Spurs have conceded four goals on two occasions in their last five, with Milan conceding a lot of goals this season as well. Milan have conceded 30 league goals, which is joint highest in the top half of the Serie A, and have conceded a whopping 13 in their last five fixtures in all competitions. I think this will be a fairly open game, with two teams very capable of scoring, but equally capable of conceding. I think taking both teams to score adds excellent value to this bet.

Anytime Goalscorer Tip: Harry Kane to score

Harry Kane has scored two in his last three Premier League fixtures, and is the second highest scorer in the league behind only Erling Haaland, with 17 goals in 23 league matches. Kane is a history making goalscorer for Spurs, and you’d be silly to back against him scoring in any fixture. I think Spurs will be quick out the blocks in this one and Kane will have a number of chances. I’m backing him to score against a Milan side who have conceded 13 goals in their last five games.
