Man City vs Chelsea bet builder tips and predictions for the FA Cup semi-final clash at Wembley at 5.15pm on Saturday 20th April.
Man City will be starting to believe they can complete a domestic double again, and they’ll need to overcome Chelsea in this one to get to the
FA Cup final, where they will face fellow sky blues Coventry City or city rivals Man United. Despite their Champions League exit on penalties against Real Madrid midweek, City are unbeaten 90 minutes in their last 28 fixtures in all competitions, with their last defeat coming against Aston Villa on December 6 2023. Chelsea have picked up of late and haven’t lost in their last eight. That said, I think City will have too much for them here.

With so much at stake in this one, I don’t expect Chelsea to go down without a fight. The Blues won their last game 6-0 against Everton, and as previously mentioned they are unbeaten in their last eight in all competitions. With the leagues top two scorers, Erling Haaland and Cole Palmer on either side, it’s hard to imagine a game of this magnitude that doesn’t end up with both teams on the scoresheet. Both match-ups between the two this season have ended in draws, 4-4 and 1-1. I think
both teams to score is a safe bet in this one.
Moises Caicedo puts himself shout in the middle of the park and is partial to receiving a booking. This season in the Premier League, he has made 28 appearances, making a massive 42 fouls, an average of 1.5 per game. He has picked up nine yellow cards in that time, the fourth highest in the league. He will be in for an extremely difficult game in this one against the likes of Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne, and I can’t imagine a game in which he doesn’t make a couple of fouls at least. I think he is good odds for a booking here.
