Liverpool vs Man City Predictions

A big one at the top of the table as Man City travel to Anfield to face league leaders Liverpool. Liverpool are eight points clear and are 4/5 favourites to win the title. City are on a poor run and will be looking to regain some form and close the gap on the Reds here. They are 7/2 to win the league.  

⭐Prediction 1 – Who will win? Liverpool or Man City?

Liverpool seem to be running away with the league this season under new boss Arne Slot, and this one seems like a must win for Pep Guardiola’s Man City. If Liverpool win here they’ll go 11 points clear of City, and we’re backing them to do just that. The football Liverpool have been playing under Arne Slot is exceptional, and they look unstoppable at the moment. They have won nine of their last 10 fixtures, with the one being a draw, and are unbeaten since their 0-1 defeat against Nottingham Forest in September. City have lost five of their last six fixtures, drawing with Feyenoord midweek after being three goals up. They’re struggling at the minute, and I think Liverpool will subject them to more pain here. I expect the points to stay at Anfield.  

⭐Prediction 2 – Mo Salah to Score Anytime

We’re backing Mo Salah to get on the scoresheet in this one. The Egyptian has scored an outstanding 10 goals in 12 league matches this season, as he looked to better his return of 18 in 32 last season. I think this one will be end to end, and with Liverpool’s excellent ability to play on the break, I think Salah is a great shout to extend his fine scoring form.  

⭐Prediction 3 – Two Players to be Booked

We’re going for two players to be carded here – Ryan Gravenberch and Josko Gvardiol. Gravenberch has been excellent for Liverpool in midfield this season and has really grown to suit the Premier League. He does get stuck in, however, and has been carded twice already this season, making a huge 18 fouls in the process. I think he’s good odds for a booking here. We’re also backing City full back Josko Gvardiol to be carded. He will be in for a tough time against Liverpool’s attack, and despite not picking up a card so far this season, I think he’s likely to make a number of fouls on the likes of Salah and Diaz. Taking him for a card boosts this bet builder to a huge 45/1.
