14/1 Poland vs Argentina Bet Builder Tip and Predictions

World Cup 2022 betting tips

Poland vs Argentina bet builder tips and predictions for the last of the Group C matches with everything riding on it. Poland are top of the group as things stand and a win for them would send Argentina home at the group stages.

As expected, Argentina are the favourites for this match at odds of 1/2. The draw is 10/3 and Poland are 7/1 to win the match. They do have Robert Lewandowski in their line-up and he will be keen to add to his first ever World Cup goal by finding the net again here.

For our Poland vs Argentina builder tip, we have picked out three predictions you can see them below. A £10 bet would return £85 if this one is a winner and using the bet365 sign-up offer for the World Cup will get you £50 in free bets too.

Argentina to win

Following their shock opening day defeat to Saudi Arabia, Argentina bounced back and defeated Mexico 2-0 in their last Group C outing. An impressive second half display saw goals from Lionel Messi and substitute Enzo Fernandez ensure they were taking all three points. Poland currently sit top of the group with four points. However, I expect Argentina to leapfrog them here to win the group. Messi and co went 36 matches unbeaten prior to their loss against Saudi Arabia, and will have too much for Czeslaw Michniewicz’s side in this. I think they’ll win comfortably.

Lionel Messi to score

Two of the greatest strikers of all time take to the same pitch in this one, and I think Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowksi will both get themselves on the scoresheet here. Messi has scored in both matches so far at this World Cup, with a penalty in the opening game and a fine second half goal last time out. He will be looking to challenge for the golden boot at what will be his final World Cup, and he will have plenty chances to add to his tally here. He takes penalties for Argentina too, so whether it be from the spot or a classic Messi stunner, I’m backing him to bag his third of the competition in this one.

Robert Lewandowski to score

Robert Lewandowski will be hoping his Poland side can defy the odds and pick up all three points in this one against a strong Argentina side. Lewandowski got himself a goal and an assist last time out and will be confident that he can add to his tally in this fixture. The Barcelona striker has scored 13 goals in 13 starts and one substitute appearance for his club this season, averaging 1.10 goals per game in La Liga, with 4.25 shots per game. He will have limited chances in this one against a strong Argentina side, however Lewandowksi only needs one chance. I think he has an excellent chance of scoring in this one and adds excellent value to this bet builder.
