It’s a game between two of the top four this weekend as third-placed Aston Villa travel to London to take on fourth-placed Chelsea. The Villains are seven points ahead of Enzo Maresca’s side with 36, and Chelsea on 29.

Chelsea come into this one in fairly mixed form, winning five of their last 10 Premier League matches and five of their last 10 in all competitions.

Villa have had a fantastic season so far, and come into this one having won each of their last 10 matches in all competitions – the first time they’ve won 10 consecutive matches since 1914.

BEST BET BUILDER TIP – Aston Villa to win @ 3/1

At odds of 3/1, I can’t turn see past another Aston Villa win this weekend. The Villains, as I said, are amidst their best run in over 100 years, with 10 wins in their last 10 matches in all competitions. It won’t be easy, facing a strong Chelsea side away from home, but Unai Emery’s side will be full of confidence coming into this one. They’re only one point behind Man City in second and two off Arsenal at the top of the pile, and a result here will further cement them as being in the title race. I think they’ll win again this weekend.

Both teams to score (4/6)

Despite winning each of their last 10, they haven’t had it easy all of the time, and have conceded in seven of those games. I think both teams to score is a great bet here against two teams who are neck and neck in terms of league position. Both teams have scored in five of Chelsea’s last 10 in all competitions, and both teams have been on target in three of the last five meetings between these two, including last time they met in February of this year. I think both teams will score here.

Morgan Rogers over 0.5 shots on target (5/6)

Morgan Rogers has had a good season so far with seven league goals in 17 appearances. He has scored four goals in his last two matches, with two against West Ham and two against Man United. In the league, he has had a total of 31 shots and 15 shots on target,  an average of just under one per game. I think this one will have plenty of chances at both ends, and Rogers is good odds to at least have one or more shots on target at 5/6.

ALTERNATIVE BET – Morgan Rogers to score @ 7/2

Four goals in his last two league matches will have Rogers full of confidence, and there’s no reason why he won’t score again this weekend. At odds of 7/2, taking him to score would boost this bet builder to 40/1.

Moises Caicedo to be carded (9/4)

Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo is the man I’m backing for a booking in this one. The Ecuadorean has been carded five times – four yellow and one red – in the league this season, making 17 fouls in 13 appearances. He has also been booked twice in the Carabao Cup, making one foul in two matches, and once in the Champions League with nine fouls in six. He always gets stuck in, and it’ll be no different this weekend. I think he’s good odds to pick up his ninth carded of the season in this one.
