It’s an all-London match-up this Sunday as Spurs travel to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Palace are eighth in the league, while Spurs are down in 14^th.

Palace have had a good season so far and are only three points outside of the top six. They come into this one off the back of a 4-1 hammering to Leeds United, and will be keen to bounce back.

Spurs have had a poor campaign, and come to Selhurst Park having lost two on the bounce – away to Forest and at home to Liverpool.

I think Crystal Palace will get back to winning ways this weekend, following their 4-1 defeat away to Leeds last time out in the league.  They are eighth in the league, which is a strong position to be in, and are in with a shout of the top six if they can regain their form. They were eliminated from the Carabao Cup by league leaders Arsenal during the week, following a 1-1 draw and an 8-7 penalty shootout loss. Spurs have lost two on the bounce, and I don’t expect them to get anything this weekend.

Jean-Philippe Mateta is having a strong season for Palace, and I think he will at least have one shot on target here. The French forward has scored seven goals in his 17 Premier League appearances so far this season, having a total of 46 shots and 20 on target. That gives him an average of more than one shot on target per game, and he will have chances here. He’s good odds to have over 0.5 shots on target in this one.

ALTERNATIVE BET – Jean-Philippe Mateta to score @ 11/8

With seven goals in 17 in the league, one in the Europa Conference League and one in the Community Shield, he’s having a decent season in front of goal. I think he’s good odds at 11/8, so if you want to boost the odds, he’s a good shout to score.

Spurs striker Richarlison is the second player I think will have one or more shots on target in this one. He has scored seven in 17 in the league and one in his six Champions League appearances. In the league, he has had 28 shots overall, with 10 on target. That gives him an average of over 0.5 shots on target per game. I think both sides will have chances in this one, and Richarlison has a good chance of having one or more shots on target.

Rodrigo Bentancur to be carded (2/1)

2/1 is great odds for Spurs’ Rodrigo Bentancur to be carded. The midfielder has accumulated four Premier League bookings in 16 appearances so far this season. He’s coming up against the likes of  Jefferson Lerma, who has been fouled nine times in the league, and Adam Wharton who has been fouled 16 times, an average of more than once per game. Bentancur will get stuck in here, as he always does, and at 2/1 he’s a good bet for a booking.
