Premier League Top Scorer Odds – Haaland the Golden Boot Favourites for 2025/26

The Premier League top scorer odds are out and Erling Haaland is the 2025/26 Golden Book favourite ahead of last year’s winner Mo Salah of Liverpool. The 2024/25 season is a distant memory, so let’s look towards the Premier League 2025/26 Golden Boot odds to see who the bookies predict will finish top scorer this campaign. Last season, Mohamed Salah clinched the Golden Boot with 29 goals, ahead of Alexander Isak (23) and Erling Haaland (22). With that benchmark set, here’s a look at who’s leading the charge for 2025/26 – and who could spoil the party.

Premier League Top Scorer Odds 2025/26

  • ErlingHaaland (ManCity)– 11/10 with Bet Victor, consistently 1/1 with Bet365 and other major bookmakers
  • Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)– 4/1 with Bet365 and consistent across most bookmakers
  • AlexanderIsak (Newcastle) – Best odds at 8/1 with Bet Victor, consistently 7/1 with other bookmakers
  • Cole Palmer (Chelsea)– Best value at 20/1 with Bet365, 18/1 with Boylesports, consistently 16/1 with other bookmakers
  • Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa)– Best value 28/1 with SpreadEx, consistently 25/1 with other bookmakers
  • Dark horses – Matheus Cunha, Chris Wood, Liam Delap, Bukayo Saka, Bryan Mbuemo

Will Haaland be Premier League Top Scorer this Season?

Our football expert Jake Gray had this to say:
“Despite being third in the race last season, Erling Haaland is still favourite to win the Premier League Golden Boot in season 2025/26. He bagged 27 goals in 2023/24, and 22 in 2024/25 despite injuries. With City’s firepower and Haaland fully fit, the bookies expect another haul. That said, his injury worries linger, and new, hungry challengers elsewhere in the league could push him harder, or Mo Salah could keep going strong.”

Will Mo Salah win the Premier League Golden Boot Again?

Fresh after signing a new two-year contract at Anfield, Mo Salah will be keen to finish top of the scoring chart again next season. He secured his fourth Golden Boot last season with 29 league goals, and under Arne Slot he looks as sharp as ever. He will continue to take penalties for the Reds, and I think there’s a good chance he will score for fun again. The only thing that might disrupt him is missing games mid-season due to the African Cup of Nations.

What are Isak’s Odds to Win the 2025/26 Golden Boot?

Alexander Isak was runner-up behind Mo Salah in the race for the Golden Boot last season with 23 goals, and he will be keen to progress this year and push for that top place with Newcastle. His mid-season form was a turn-up for the books and really pushed him towards that second-place finish in the scoring charts, and I think he will be up there again this term. With Newcastle in the Champions League, he will have a lot of games to play. Who knows if that will help or hinder him, though – he may become too tired, or he might find his shooting boots in both competitions to kick on and finish the highest scorer in the league. Our betting odds expert:
“The best odds for Iask to win the Premier League Golden Boot in the 2025/26 season are 8/1 with bet365, where new customers get a bet £10 get £30 sign-up offer.”

A slight Golden Boot outsider in Ollie Watkins

We all know the attacking prowess that Ollie Watkins possesses, but does he have it in him to battle to be the Premier League’s top scorer? He finished last season with 19 Premier League goals to his name, for a Villa side who finished sixth in the league. The Villains will need to really click to provide the front man with enough service to bag the goals he needs, but you never know. He certainly knows where the goals are, so if the chances are created, there’s every chance of him being up there.
  • Ollie Watkins’ odds to be top scorer this season are 28/1 with Star Sports.

Chelsea’s golden boy – could Cole Palmer get the Golden Boot?

Cole Palmer (25/1 with 10Bet) has undeniable talent in front of goal and has been one of Chelsea’s main men for the last few seasons. Last season, he managed 15 league goals for the Blues, but they have strengthened considerably going into the new campaign. They will be hard to beat, create a lot of chances, and score goals. Palmer will no doubt be at the heart of that, and I think he will at least beat his tally of 15 last season.

Other Premier League Golden Boot Predictions

The chances of someone else winning the Golden Boot is lower, but by no means impossible. Matheus Cunha bagged 15 goals in 33 league matches for Wolves last season, which has helped to secure him a move to Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United. If United are to improve this season, there’s a good chance he will score more than that next season, and he could find himself in the golden boot race. Chris Wood (66/1 with Ladbrokes) had a solid season for Forest, bagging 20 goals in 36 league matches. It’ll be difficult for Forest to have as good a campaign next season, but if they create the chances, Wood is more than capable of putting them away. Another new signing, and another Chelsea player, Liam Delap (66/1 with Ladbrokes), is another who could be in with an outside chance. He bagged 12 for a struggling Ipswich Town side last season, and with Chelsea’s impressive Club World Cup campaign, they’ll likely be up there this season. They’ll create a lot of chances, and Delap will need to take his chance early doors to stay in the team. If he does that, he could have a high-scoring season. Arsenal will be up there again this season, and Bukayo Saka (40/1 with William Hill) could be up there if he finds his form. He’s been one of Arsenal’s main men for a few years now, but he only managed six goals last season in 25 starts and five sub appearances. Based on recent stats, this is probably the wildcard selection here, but we all know he’s capable. Brentford’s Bryan Mbuemo (66/1 with Ladbrokes) had an excellent season last term, with 20 goals in his 38 league appearances. Mbuemo remains at Brentford for now, but there are still strong links between him and Manchester United. Should he join the Red Devils, there could be an even better chance of him bagging more than last season. He’s another outsider, but he could be up there come the end of the season.
