It’s a massive game between two giants of European football in the first of two Champions League semi-finals this week. Bayern Munich travel to take on PSG in Paris in the first leg.
PSG have won eight of their last 10 matches in all competitions, with the two defeats in that time coming against Lyon and Monaco in Ligue 1. They’re top of the league, with 68 points from 30 games, eight clear of Lens in second.
Bayern are unbeaten in their last 10, with one draw and nine wins in the process. In fact, they haven’t lost a game since late January, when they lost 1-2 to Augsburg at the Allianz Arena. They won the Bundesliga last week, securing their 35th title with a 4-2 win over Stuttgart.

This is a huge game for both sides as they look to take a win into next week’s second leg fixture, and progress to the Champions League final. With Bayern having already won their league, and PSG extremely likely to do so, they’ll both be keen to add another, and arguably the most important, trophy to their cabinet this season. At home, I think PSG will do the business, and they’re good odds to win at 11/8. They’ve lost only two of their last 10 fixtures at home, and have lost only five league matches all season, with 22 wins and three draws. Bayern are an incredible side, but I think PSG will come out on top at home.
Both Teams to Score (3/8)
With it being these two, I think both teams to score is a safe bet. They’re both flying domestically, and both score huge amounts of goals. This season, PSG have scored 68 league goals, while Bayern have bagged a colossal 113 goals in just 31 games, 48 more than Dortmund, the second highest scoring team in the Bundesliga. Both teams have scored in seven of Bayern’s last 10, while both teams have been on target in four of the last 10 for PSG, with both teams on target in eight of their 11 in the Champions League.
Kvaratskhelia Over 0.5 Shots on Target (4/11)
Georgian winger Kvaratskhelia has had a decent season for PSG, scoring seven in 25 in the league, and an impressive eight in 13 Champions League appearances. He also has nine assists to his name in all competitions, so is a valuable asset for the Parisian side. In those 13 Champions League matches, he has had a total of 42 shots, with 14 being on target, an average of more than one per game. I think this one will be end to end, and I think he will have at least one shot on target in this one.
Best Bet Builder Tip – Harry Kane Over 1.5 Shots on Target (23/20)
Harry Kane has had an incredible season, leading Bayern to another title with an incredible number of goals scored in the Bundesliga. The England striker has bagged 53 goals in all competitions this season, with 33 in 28 in the league, 12 in 11 in the Champions League, seven in five in the DFB Pokal, and one in the DFL Super Cup. That adds up to 53 goals in 45 matches this season, an average of more than one goal per game. In the Champions League, he has had 21 shots on target, an average just under two per game. I think there’s a good chance he will have two or more in this one.
Alternative Bet – PSG or Draw (Double Chance) @ 19/40
