Jamie Carragher is never one to shy away from a good time, and following the last day of the Premier League season, he headed straight to Liverpool to watch a BOSS Night gig.
The band sing Liverpool chants and have really taken off in the last couple of seasons, performing in Kiev before the Champions League final against Real Madrid. Carragher is a regular at the events and the hilarious video below shows him on stage singing Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk chant, holding a pint of beer, and spilling most of it.
The event was the BOSS Night end-of-season party, and although the sold-out crowd were hoping they’d be celebrating a first Premier League title for Liverpool, it wasn’t to be. That didn’t stop them signing all the Liverpool songs, including ‘Allez Allez Allez’ and of course, ‘We’re going to Madrid”. But it was the Virgil Van Dijk song that once again got Jamie Carragher on stage.

Although Carragher’s singing leaves a lot to be desired, you cannot fault his effort, and he hits some seriously high notes halfway through the song. His reported £1,000,000 salary at Sky Sports was getting well spent at the bar by the looks of things on the video. Carragher had been at Anfield earlier in the day to see Liverpool beat Wolves 2-0, but it wasn’t enough for them to win the Premier League title because Manchester City ran out 4-1 winners at Brighton where his Sky Sports co-pundit, Gary Neville, was drenched in beer by Man City fans.
