Burnley are staring relegation in the face and need to start winning matches asap, especially at home. Bournemouth are as good as safe from relegation and are set for a midtable finish even this far out from the end of the season.

Bournemouth are eight points above the drop zone, so they are not out the woods yet and can still be dragged into the relegation battle if they’re not careful. They haven’t scored in their last two, and that really needs to change here. That said, they have been on target in two of their last three home matches. Bournemouth have scored in eight of their last 10 Premier League matches, also conceding in eight of their last 10. With that, I think this fixture has great potential to have goals from both sides.
Alex Scott has featured 12 times in the Premier League this season for Bournemouth. However, he has featured in each of their last five matches in all competitions, whether that be from the bench or in the starting 11. The midfielder isn’t shy when it comes to getting stuck in, and has picked up two yellow cards in those 12 appearances. He was booked last time out in the Cherries 1-0 defeat against Championship side Leicester in the cup, and I’m backing him to see yellow again in this one.

Dominic Solanke has been in excellent form for Bournemouth so far this season, and I think he will cause a lot of problems for Burnley in this one. The front man has bagged himself 14 goals in his 25 league appearances, which is an excellent return. He has 28 shots on target, an average of over one per game, and I think he will have a couple of chances in this one. He is excellent odds to have over 1.5 shots on target.
