Chelsea vs Liverpool Bet Builer Tips and Predictions – 15/1 Premier League Betting Tip

Current image: Chelsea betting tips

League leaders Liverpool travel to Stamford Bridge this weekend in what’s sure to be an exciting match between two top sides. Liverpool are looking to retain their title, while Chelsea are looking upwards at a top four spot.

Liverpool come here amidst a somewhat poor run of form, with two defeats in their last two against Crystal Palace and Galatasaray. They have won five of their first six Premier League matches, without playing to the standard we all know they’re capable of.

Chelsea have won two of their last three matches in all competitions – a 1-0 win over Benfica, a 1-3 league defeat against Brighton and a 1-2 win away to Lincoln in the Carabao Cup.

Chelsea vs Liverpool Predictions

BEST BET BUILDER TIP – Double chance: Chelsea or draw @ 8/13

I don’t think Chelsea will lose this one at home while Liverpool are in the midst of a poor run of form. Chelsea have had a mixed start, with two wins, two draws, and two defeats from their opening six games, leaving them in eighth place, just three points outside the top four.

Chelsea have the makings of a very good team, and I think they will kick into gear starting this weekend, with what would be an extremely confidence boosting result at home to the Premier League champions.

ALTERNATIVE BET – To boost the odds here, you could take Chelsea for the straight win. They have lost just one of their last 12 matches at Stamford Bridge, which was last time out against Brighton, and they defeated Liverpool 3-1 at home in the league back in May.

Both Teams to Score  Tip – Yes (1/2)

Both teams have scored in six of Chelsea’s nine competitive matches this season, and the Blues have failed to score in just one of their opening six league matches – an opening day goalless draw with Crystal Palace. For Liverpool, both teams have scored in seven of their 10 competitive fixtures this season.

Both teams have scored in four of the last five meetings between these two, and I think that trend will continue at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

ALTERNATIVE BETS – for higher odds, you could back over 3.5 goals in the game at 9/2. There have been three or more goals in three of their last five meetings, with more than three in two of those matches.

Player to Score or Assist – Joao Pedro (12/5)

Joao Pedro has had a decent start to his Chelsea career. He has scored twice and registered three assists in his opening six Premier League appearances. He’s very much involved in Chelsea’s attacking play, with an XG of 1.5, and 21 touches in the opposition box. Both teams will have chances here, and Pedro will definitely have the opportunity to stamp his authority in the game.

ALTERNATIVE BET BUILDER BET – if you fancy, you could get higher odds by taking Joao Pedro to score anytime at 2/1.

Player to be Carded Tip – Conor Bradley (27/10)

Liverpool’s Conor Bradley is a booking waiting to happen. The full-back has already been carded four times this season – twice in the league and twice in the Champions League. He averages over one foul per game, with six in the opening four league matches. He will likely be coming up against Alejandro Garnacho who can be a tricky customer. His Chelsea career is yet to ignite properly, but in his last five Premier League appearances for Manchester United, he drew eight fouls, winning 20 in his last 15 Premier League appearances.

If you want to boost the odds, you could add two selections instead of a Bradley card: Bradley over 2.5 fouls (11/2) and Garnacho over 2.5 fouls won (17/10).
