It’s a short trip across London for Chelsea this weekend as they head to take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday, and if you bet £20 on the match you will get a £35 free bet with the Spinzwin sign-up offer.
Palace had a decent start to the season, but haven’t won in their last 10 matches in all competitions. They find themselves in 13th place in the Premier League.
Chelsea are sixth after 22 Premier League matches and have won nine of them. They have won three of their last four matches.

Crystal Palace vs Chelsea Predictions
Chelsea to win (1/1)
Both teams to score (4/6)
Jean-Philippe Mateta over 0.5 shots on target (4/7)
Jefferson Lerma to be booked (5/2)
BEST BET BUILDER TIP – Chelsea to win
I’m backing Chelsea to win this weekend against a Crystal Palace side who haven’t won since their 3-0 victory over Irish side Shelbourne on 11 December. Oliver Glasner’s side have only won two of their last 10 in the Premier League. Chelsea, on the other hand, have won four, drawn three and lost three of their last 10 in all competitions. That’s a very mixed bag for the Blues, but I think they’ll come out on top this weekend, extending Palace’s winless streak.
Both Teams to Score Tip
Although I expect Chelsea to win, I think both teams will score in this all-London affair. Both teams have scored in eight of Chelsea’s last 10 matches, while both teams have scored in six of Palace’s last 10. Chelsea have scored 36 goals in 22 matches this season, with Palace scoring 23. However, with Palace being at home, they definitely won’t go down without a fight. I think both teams to score is a good bet in this one at odds of 4/6.
ALTERNATIVE BET – over 2.5 goals @ 3/4
You might want to change it up slightly, and back more than 2.5 goals in the game at 3/4. This selection does reduce the overall odds to 14/1, but you might think that’s worthwhile as you’re not reliant on both teams finding the net.
Jean-Philippe Mateta over 0.5 shots on target
Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta is the man I’m backing for a shot on target here. The Frenchman has scored 10 goals in all competitions this season, with eight coming in the Premier League. He has had 52 shots in the league, with 22 of them being on target, an average of exactly one shot on target per match. He has had 33 shots on target in 32 appearances in all competitions. I think both teams will have chances, and with Mateta’s average, there’s a good chance he will have a minimum of one here.
Jefferson Lerma to be booked (5/2)
Palace midfielder Jefferson Lerma has been carded four times in all competitions this season, with all of them coming in the Premier League. He has made 13 fouls in his 19 league outings, committing five in the Europa Conference League and four in the Carabao Cup. He will be coming up against the likes of Enzo Fernandez, who has been fouled 22 times in 21 league matches. I think 5/2 is great odds for Lerma to pick up his fifth booking of the season this Sunday.
