Girona vs Arsenal Predictions

I think Arsenal will win this one comfortably against a Girona side who have lost six of their seven matches in the Champions League this season. The Gunners have lost just two of their last 20 in all competitions and are unbeaten in their last five fixtures. Girona are in a poor run of form and have lost their last three, winning just two in their last 11 in all competitions. We’re going for two players to have over 0.5 shots on target, Kai Havertz of Arsenal and Bryan Gil of Girona. Havertz has done well for Arsenal this season, bagging 14 goals in all competitions across the Premier League, Champions League and Carabao Cup. He averages just under one shot on target per match, and as Arsenal will create a lot of chances here, I think he’s great odds to have at least one shot on target. We’re also backing Girona’s Bryan Gil to have over 0.5 shots on target. He has three league goals to his name this season and, at home, I reckon Girona will have a few chances. In his 19 appearances in La Liga, Gil has 12 shots on target to his name, and I reckon he’s a good shout to have one here. Kai Havertz is the man we’re backing to pick up a booking. The German has been shown yellow on four occasions this season, each of them coming in the Premier League. He averages almost two fouls per match in the Premier League with 36 fouls in 20 games, and I think he will make one or two here, especially if he grows frustrated in pressing the Girona back line. I think he’s good odds for a card in this one.
