I don’t think many people would argue against this selection, given both sides’ start to the Premier League season (sorry Luton fans). Although they got the benefit of a very poor VAR decision last week to beat Liverpool, Spurs are in red-hot form under new boss Ange Postecoglu and have won five of their opening seven Premier League fixtures. They are one of two unbeaten teams so far, along with their fierce rivals Arsenal, and are currently second in the league. Luton have lost five, won one and drawn one in their seven. I expect Spurs to win this one comfortably.

James Maddison has quickly become a fans favourite in the white of Tottenham Hotspur, and has come up with several moments of magic already this season. He has bagged two Premier League goals for his new side already, getting four assists. Spurs will spend most of this one on the front foot and Maddison will be involved right at the heart of the action. I think he is great odds to either score, assist, or both here.

 

Marvelous Nakamba to be booked

Marvelous Nakamba loves a booking. On Tuesday, even when he himself would’ve thought he was getting away with it for a game, he popped up and got a card in injury time. This season, he has picked up three yellow cards in seven games. Last season, he picked up three as well, fouling 20 times in his 17 starts in the Championship for Luton. I’m backing him to pick up a card here in what will be a difficult game for the midfielder.
