City aren’t having the season they would’ve liked and find themselves in fourth place. They’re three behind Forest in third and seven off Arsenal in second. They’re 1/3 to finish in the top four. Spurs are having a dreadful season and are currently 12^th in the league, six off a top half finish. They’re 9/4 to finish in the top half.

I think this one will be lively from the off, and I’m going with both teams to score. Man City have scored in 18 of their last 20 in all competitions, and despite not scoring against Liverpool last time out, are the third highest scorers in the league. The second highest scorers in the league, behind league leaders Liverpool, are Spurs with 53 goals. Spurs have also scored in 18 of their last 20 in all competitions. Both teams play very attacking football, and I think both will score here. Both teams to score will mean a good amount of goals in the match, so I’m backing over two here. Three of the last five fixtures between these two have had more than two goals in the game, with three or more in three of those five. There has been more then two goals in 12 of City’s last 13 fixtures in all competitions. For Spurs, there has been more than two goals in 10 of their last 13. Both teams have great attacking prowess and are two of the highest scorers in the league, so I think more than two goals is a great bet here. Plenty goals means plenty of attacks, so I’m going for over nine corners in this one. Games involving Man City average 10.31 corners per game, while City’s away fixtures average 10.54 corners per match. Spurs games average 12.81 corners per game, and Spurs home fixtures average  14.15 per game. I think over nine corners is a safe bet here. Rodrigo Bentancur is the man we’re backing for a booking here. He has been carded five times in the league this season in 16 appearances, making 21 fouls in that time, so an average of well over one foul per game. He has also been booked twice in the Europa League this season. He will be in four a physical battle in the midfield here, and I think he’s great odds to pick up his eighth booking of the season.
