290/1 Saturday Bookings Acca – 4 players tipped to be shown a card this weekend

Bookings tips

My Saturday bookings tips consist of two Premier League matches and two from the Championship.

I’ve priced up a player to be booked in each of Everton vs Liverpool, Spurs vs Fulham, Millwall vs Cardiff and Rotherham vs Watford this weekend.

The 4 fold pays a massive 290/1 with Bet365.

There’s value in the singles however, so I would recommend playing this as a Lucky 15 or a Yankee as well as the straight 4 fold.

Saturday Bookings Tips

  • Vitaliy Mykolenko (vs Liverpool) – 13/5
  • Joao Palhinha (vs Tottenham) – 3/1
  • Joe Ralls (vs Millwall) – 7/2
  • Richard Wood (vs Watford) – 7/2

Odds – 290/1 with Bet365.

A £10 bet would return £2910 if all four players are booked and with the bet365 sign-up offer you’d get £50 in free bets.

Vitaliy Mykolenko (Everton) to be carded vs Liverpool

The Merseyside Derby is always fiery and passionate amongst players and supporters alike. You could make a case for a number of players to be carded in this one, but one that stands out as value for me is Ukrainian left-back Mykolenko.

He’s been carded just the once this season, but my main reason for selecting him to be booked is because of the opposition he is facing. The young full-back will be facing one of the best players in the league in Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian winger hasn’t been at his best this season, but I think he will return to his old kind of form in this fixture which will make it difficult for Mykolenko to handle.

Mykolenko will also try and cope with the overlapping runs of Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold. I can see him and Salah causing headaches for Mykolenko in this match which will result in him being booked during the 90 minutes.

Joao Palhinha (Fulham) to be carded vs Tottenham

My next selection is for Fulham’s Portuguese midfielder Palhinha in this London Derby.

Fulham’s new arrival has already found himself in the book on three occasions this season which shows that he isn’t afraid to put himself about.

The away side will most likely be up against it for the duration of this match, and the defensive midfielder will need to cope with Spurs dangerous duo of Harry Kane and Heung-min Son. Kane often drops deeper these days to get on the ball and link up with Son and fellow winger Dejan Kulusevski, so I can see Palhinha being tasked with man-marking the Spurs and England Captain.

I can see the Spurs front line causing Fulham problems all afternoon which will draw Palhinha into making fouls and being booked in the process.

Joe Ralls (Cardiff) to be booked vs Millwall

I head to the Championship for my next selection, where I’m backing Cardiff City midfielder Ralls to pick up a yellow in what promises to be a feisty affair at The Den.

Ralls has found himself in the book once this term, but does have history of being carded having been shown a yellow a staggering 31 times in the last 5 seasons.

He’s a passionate midfielder who will always put a foot in and I think the hostile atmosphere at Millwall will be right up his street as he will look to win an exciting midfield battle.

I think he provides value at 7/2 to be booked in this one.

Richard Wood (Rotherham) to be carded vs Watford

My last selection of the four comes in the shape of experienced Rotherham centre-half Richard Wood. He’s yet to be booked this term and has been more well-known for his goal-scoring exploits, chipping in with 3 already.

He was shown 8 yellow cards and 1 red last term however and I think it’s only a matter of time before he picks up his first of this season.

I think it will come in this one as he faces two of the best forwards in the division in Joao Pedro and Ismaila Sarr. I think these two prove a deadly combination this season and, with Sarr likely to face up directly against Wood, I can see Wood having to make decisions to potentially save his team from conceding which will result in him being booked.

Again, I think this is a value selection in another match where you could make a case for many.
