Tottenham to beat Marseille

Antonio Conte’s men seriously appear to have found their groove in recent weeks, with the Italian having bolstered his squad massively over the summer.

Atletico are a side that have flattered to deceive in European competition in recent years, but as a club in the second pot in the Champions League draw, they take on first seeds Porto despite being considered the better side.

The away side lost Filip Kostic amongst others in the summer, and failed to bring in many top-tier signings despite their newfound riches. Sporting’s lack of fearlessness and resilience should carry them over the line against an inexperienced German outfit.

 

Inter Milan to beat Bayern Munich

This may come as a shock; but I have full belief that Inter can nab a win despite Bayern’s star-studded squad.

The Nerazzurri are an incredible side on their day, and have retained the services of Romelu Lukaku whilst also signing Andre Onana and Henrikh Mkhitaryan on free signings, whilst also shifting deadwood.

Bayern on the other hand, despite buying Sadio Mane and Matthijs de Ligt, have lost Robert Lewandowski. And with the Pole being indispensable to their title challenges in recent years, I have a sneaky feeling the San Siro outfit will walk away with all three points.
