Premier League Transfer Odds – Kante, Zaha, Tielemans & Gundogan Set for a Free Transfer this Summer
While a record-breaking January transfer window might have only just slammed shut, it appears that a string of Premier League superstars could be set for a hectic time behind the scenes.
Although Chelsea might have forked out a British transfer record of £105million as they finally signed Enzo Fernandez on a permanent deal, there are plenty of top-flight icons who find themselves at a real crossroads.
While Premier League clubs from up and down the country might be trying to get their biggest assets tied down to a new deal, plenty of stars have entered the final six months of their current contracts and some bookies with welcome offers have started offering transfer odds for Premier League players who are out of contract this summer.
Now free to discuss and sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs from abroad, we have taken a look at four Premier League heavyweights that are inching towards what would be a blockbuster free transfer this summer.
Will Ngolo Kante Leave Chelsea this Summer?
Really struggling to find any kind of stability since appointing Graham Potter back in September, there is no doubt that Chelsea have been missing N’Golo Kante’s presence in their midfield.
While Potter might have given a chance to the likes of Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek since arriving at Stamford Bridge, the ex-Brighton boss is yet to find a preferred partnership in the middle of the park.
Although Kante might have become a fan favourite in west London after moving from Leicester for a fee of £30million back in 2016, it appears that the French international will be leaving Chelsea come the end of the season.
Dealing with a real injury nightmare this year and yet to make a single appearance since the middle of August, the World Cup-winner has failed to agree on a new deal at Stamford Bridge and has been heavily linked with the likes of Spanish giants Barcelona.
Ilkay Gundogan the next Man City star to leave?
With it announced on February 7th that Manchester City are facing numerous alleged breaches of financial rules, the Sky Blues are dealing with some rather public issues behind the scenes.
However, focused on trying to defend their Premier League crown this season and currently priced at 21/20 to eventually come past title rivals Arsenal, Pep Guardiola will know that he must have all of his superstars at their very best.
Nevertheless, while Guardiola might have once again been filled with praise for Ilkay Gundogan this season, their long-standing midfield icon finds his future at the Etihad at a real impasse over the coming months.
Although the German international might have played a crucial role in the Sky Blues’ domestic success since arriving from Borussia Dortmund back in 2016, Gundogan is yet to agree on a new deal and City’s off-field issues could prove to be a key factor in his decision.
Wilfried Zaha Next Club Odds this Summer
- 6/1 – Tottenham
- 8/1 – Borussia Dortmund
- 9/1 – West Ham
- 9/1 – Newcastle
- 11/1 – Atletico Madrid
- 12/1 – Arsenal
- 16/1 – RB Leipzig
- 16/1 – Leicester
Almost becoming the poster boy at Selhurst Park during his two stints in south London, it is hard to picture a Crystal Palace squad without Wilfried Zaha in their ranks.
However, while Palace’s homegrown superstar might have cemented his place as one of their most recognisable sons, it is growing more clear by the week that the Ivory Coast ace is moving closer towards a free transfer away from the capital and Sky Bet have Wilfried Zaha next club odds for post-Summer 2023.
Picking up a hamstring injury during the Eagles’ 0-0 stalemate against Newcastle on January 21st, this is not the first time that Zaha has publically been linked with a move away from his boyhood club.
Stating over the past two seasons that he is keen on trying something new, Zaha has been linked with a host of European heavyweights as his contact ticks away. Tottenham (6/1) and Newcastle (9/1) appear to be leading the Zaha next club odds to snap up the 30-year-old this summer.
Youri Tielemans set for Liverpool, Newcastle or Arsenal this Summer?
Next Club Odds:
- 4/1 – Newcastle
- 5/1 – Arsenal
- 9/1 – Man United
- 16/1 – Chelsea
- 20/1 – Liverpool
While Leicester might have kept hold of Youri Tielemans during the January transfer window, it seems that fans around the King Power have accepted that their midfield talisman will be moving on come the end of the season.
Although the Foxes might have been trying over the past 18 months to get the Belgium international tied down to a bumped new deal, Tielemans has rebuffed any approaches over an extension.
With his sights set on joining one of Europe’s elite ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, it is no secret that the 25-year-old has plenty of admirers who are keen on snapping up Tielemans on what would be a lucrative free swoop.
Bagging the winner at Leicester lifted a maiden FA Cup crown back in 2021, the ex-Monaco starlet could still be staying put in the Premier League. Title contenders Arsenal are a long-term admirer and find themselves priced at 6/1 to snap up Tielemans’ signature this summer.
