West Ham vs Sunderland Bet Builder Preview
West Ham are struggling towards the bottom of the Premier League, and they welcome Sunderland to the London Stadium on Saturday – our football tipster has picked our four bets, including a team to win, a player to have a shot on target, and two players to be carded.
The Hammers have had a poor season and find themselves in 18th place in the league, five points from safety.
Sunderland have had a good first season back up, following promotion from the Championship last season. They have won eight, drawn nine and lost only five league matches, the same number of defeats as Man City and Aston Villa.

Sunderland Tipped to beat West Ham
Sunderland are great odds to take the victory this weekend at 19/10. The Black Cats have won eight of their 22 matches so far this season, losing only five. They have lost only two in their last 10 matches, drawing six and winning two. They are partial to drawing games, but I think they’ll come out on top here against a West Ham side that has lost 13 of their 22 league matches.
ALTERNATIVE BET – Sunderland win or draw @ 1/2
Because of their high number of draws, taking Sunderland or a draw in this one could be a smart idea. I won’t be surprised if this one does end all square. Taking this reduces the odds to 45/1, which is still very decent for this bet builder.
BEST BET BUILDER TIP – Brian Bobbey over 0.5 shots on target (4/9)
Brian Brobbey has bagged four goals in 17 appearances in the league this season, including the winner in a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace last time out. He has had seven shots on target in the league, an average just under 0.5 per game. I think that goal last time out will give him confidence, and Sunderland should create a lot of chances here. I think he’s good odds to have one or more shots on target.

Trai Hume to be booked (11/4)
Sunderland full-back Trai Hume is the first man we’re backing for a card in this fixture. The 23-year-old Northern Ireland international has been carded seven times in all competitions for Sunderland this season, including last time out against Palace. Six of those seven cards have come in the Premier League, with one in the FA Cup. He has made a total of 17 fouls in the league, and I think he will make one or two here. 11/4 is good odds for him to be carded.
Tomas Soucek to be carded (5/1)
Tomas Soucek is fantastic odds to be carded at 5/1, and you might consider taking him as a single as well as adding him to this bet builder. The midfielder has been booked three times in the league this season, with two yellows and one red card. He has also been carded once in the Carabao Cup. He has made 17 fouls in 19 league matches, an average just shy of one foul per match. Odds of 5/1 are very generous for this selection.
