Our 17/2 Chelsea vs Manchester United bet builder tip for Saturday’s Premier League clash. Kick-off is at 8pm BST at Stamford Bridge, live on TNT Sports 1 and HBO Max.
This is the late kick-off of the weekend and one with genuine European stakes for both sides. Michael Carrick’s United arrive in third, looking to bounce back from Monday’s 2-1 home defeat to Leeds and extend their lead over the Blues to ten points. Liam Rosenior’s Chelsea have lost their last three Premier League matches without scoring and are facing growing pressure from their supporters ahead of a pivotal week that also includes an FA Cup semi-final against Leeds.
Our tipster has found a 17/2 bet builder combining Man United to win, both teams to score, over 3.5 cards and Matheus Cunha over 0.5 shots on target.

It’s a big one this Saturday as Chelsea welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge, with United in third and the Blues seven points below them in sixth.
Chelsea have lost their last three league matches, with only three wins in their last 10 in all competitions. They are only three points away from dropping into the bottom half of the table; only six points separate sixth and 14th.
United are winless in their last two, but have been down to 10 men in both games. They have won six of their last 10, and are nine points behind second-place City, and level on points with Villa below them.
Best Bet Builder Tip – Man United to Win (11/5)
This one will be a very close match, but I fancy Man United to come away from Stamford Bridge with all three points this weekend. The Red Devils lost last time out against rivals Leeds, and are winless in two, but have won six of their last 10 league matches, including against league leaders Arsenal, and Aston Villa who they are level on points with. Chelsea have lost their last three league matches without scoring a goal – 2-0, 3-0 and 3-0, and have won only four of their last 10 league matches. They’ve also won only one of their last six in all competitions, a 7-0 win over League One strugglers Port Vale. I think United will come out on top here.
Both Teams to Score (1/2)
We’re at the business end of the season, when teams are battling to secure the highest possible league position. United are unlikely to gain nine points on city rivals Man City, but they’ll be looking to secure third, which they are battling for with Aston Villa. Chelsea are seven behind Villa and United, so have an outside chance of third, but will be looking over their shoulder at dropping into the bottom half. There’s a lot to play for for both sides, as the Blues also look to maintain their position for a European spot. With that, I think they’ll both go for it, and both teams to score is a safe bet.
Over 3.5 Cards in the Match (1/2)
As I expect both teams to go for it, I expect there to be fouls at both ends of the park. In Chelsea’s last five league matches, there have been four or more bookings in four of them. For United, there have been four or more players booked in each of their last five fixtures, with a red card shown in four of their last five. The stats speak for themselves with this selection, and I’d be surprised if there were fewer than four cards in this match.
Matheus Cunha Over 0.5 Shots on Target (3/5)
Matheus Cunha is the man I’m backing for shots on target this weekend, and he’s 3/5 to have one or more. He has had one or more shots on target in each of his last five, with exactly one in four of them, and two in the other. This season, he has bagged seven goals, all in the Premier League, with 31 of his 76 shots being on target. That gives him an average of more than one per game, and I think he will continue that trend against Chelsea this weekend.
Alternative Bet – A Red Card to be Shown @ 9/2
Taking a red card to be shown for either team in this one really boosts the odds of this bet builder to 33/1 with Bet 365. It’s not one I normally go for, but given there has been a red card in four of the last five featuring United, and three in Chelsea’s last 10, it’s worth a look as an alternative.
