12/1 Brighton vs Manchester City Bet Builder Tip and Predictions

Brighton v Man City bet builder tips and match predictions for Saturday’s fixture in the Premier League. Our tipster has picked out a player to score, player to have a shot on target and one of the Brighton players to be carded.
Man City travel to the seaside to take on Brighton amidst a poor run of form for Pep Guardiola’s side. They have lost their last three fixtures in all competitions, but they’re still 6/4 favourites to win the league.
Brighton have also had a decent start to the league with four wins, four draws and two defeats from their opening 10 league matches. They are 9/4 to finish in the top six this season.
Betting odds:
- Man City are favourites at 3/4 for the win
- The draw is 16/5
- If you fancy Brighton, they are 31/20

Brighton vs Man City Predictions
Despite Man City’s poor run of form, with the Champions currently on a three-match winless streak, I’m backing them to take the three points as they travel to Brighton this weekend. They will be looking to bounce back from their 4-1 hammering away to Sporting Lisbon midweek, and I expect them to do so. In the last 10 fixtures between the two, City have won eight, drawn one and lost one. I think they’ll get back to winning ways here, in a difficult away fixture.
We’re obviously backing Erling Haaland to score. Who else? The Norwegian striker has already bagged himself 14 in 14 in all competitions, 11 of those coming in his 10 league appearances, giving him an average of over one goal per game. City will have plenty of chances here as they come at Brighton from the off, and I’d be surprised if Haaland didn’t take at least one of them.
Despite thinking City will have most of the possession, I do believe Brighton will have some chances, albeit they might be few and far between. The front man has six goals in his 10 Premier League appearances so far this season, which is a very decent return. In those 10 games, he has had 12 shots on target, so an average over one per game. If anyone is to be on the end of a Brighton chance, you’d be brave to bet against it being Danny Welbeck. I think this selection adds real value to this bet builder.
We’re going for one player to be booked – Yankuba Minteh. In his seven appearances for the Seagulls this season, the forward player has been booked twice, making six fouls, an average of just under one per game. Brighton will look to press Man City and may get frustrated as their defence control the ball. This might lead to fouls, and I think Minteh is a good shout for a card here.
